I'm sure if they've tried to hide something then it will come out anyway, but when has there ever been a great revelation in these meetings? Not sure why everyone gets so worked up about it TBH. I think people get worked up about it, due to these meetings being built up, as a way of bringing some sort of action against the people who are damaging it and spouting down right lies. Pasha and Gestede are the two main culprits right now, with the former apparently telling the owners, they do not need to fund the club and that everything is hunky dory. He is supposedly sending edited versions of match highlights to the owners too, if postings on here and other sites, are to be believed. Gestede is coming outwith all sorts of shit, such as we have an exciting summer ahead and embarrassing himself in some of the interviews he has done. Glen Mullen posted on here and on Twitter about how the meeting had gone and I know he will post the truth if minutes do not accurately reflect certain elements of it. People expect some sort of fight back and hope that by hearing some positives from these meetings, things will get better and have some assurances that promises will be kept. Maybe even a revelation from the horses mouths about what’s really happening in India now with the courts and the action being taken by ED. If we get absolutely no feedback at all, or a diluted version of events, then I would scrap the FF as so far as I am concerned at the minute, they are just an ego trip for a few fans. 7 Quote

arbitro Posted Friday at 06:40 Posted Friday at 06:40 Maybe he should have a word with our owners then. 2 Quote
MarkBRFC Posted Friday at 06:52 Posted Friday at 06:52 Isn't this just the norm with the minutes these days? They always seem to be released a few weeks after the meeting. Quote
Mattyblue Posted Friday at 07:40 Posted Friday at 07:40 Just standard strange behaviour from a strange football club. Quote

The minutes have been written from what we have been told on here, yet no sign of them being published. No explanation so far as to why they are delayed either, despite a post on this site, saying they will be out early this week. Is it time to spill the beans, as it has become a pointless organisation the fans forum, if people are prepared to cow tow to the clubs apparent resistance to allow a public record of what went on in these meetings? Perhaps there is another reason for the delay, but I can’t help thinking the club are not happy with the contents of the minutes, so want them amending. The delay is not club related, minutes were drafted quickly and approved by club. Some of the points have been asked to be looked at again from attendees, on their first viewing of the approved minutes, so in essence the initial delay is duets this. So no conspiracy theory or minutes being altered by club at this stage. 2 Quote

This was my greatest fear with these meetings,a lack of transparency and honesty from the Club's side...its been going on for some fifteen years. Quote

Someone is opposing them, either the FF group of the club, as the writer of them advise they would be released by now. Quote

Penwortham Blue Posted Saturday at 16:58 Posted Saturday at 16:58 I’m really hoping that the minutes are out shortly, the season begins and we get back some momentum in achieving objectives, removing Pasha and ultimately, the owners selling our club. 3 Quote

glen9mullan Posted yesterday at 21:57 Posted yesterday at 21:57 Just to update as I appreciate things quiet on Coalition front. We are talking daily surrounding next steps. Its critically important we choose our moments as things go up and down across the supporter base dependent on that days news. I'm reliably informed Suhail returning to Ewood has not strengthened his position, quite the opposite. He's a man under immense pressure and potential replacements (I know not the best news) are already being considered. TRUSTED ADVISOR ,A term I strategically used twice during the FF meeting, is no longer a term that can be used as a fact, hence I used it!!!. The supporter silence publicly don't mean we are having the summer off. As recently elected Co-Chair of the trust, in conjunction with my Action Group Chair responsibilities, there is also some work to do here too, whilst I remain active in the Coalition too. WATR Needs to grow its credibility, something Ive been honest with the board from the start. Its going to take some hard graft, but I believe we've the board members to do this. Close season always a tough time for media pressure, but using this time wisely for the road in front of us all is critically important. Nothing has changed regarding the Coalitions position, As ive maintained the Coalition dont stop group activities, and as Action group lead I'm pressing on as I always do taking out things brick by brick, strategically This of course means less members of the coalition are involved with some things occurring purely to keep the hatches locked and prevent indirect leaks. 9 Quote

With the media’s attention currently on the women’s game would now not be a good time to re-emphasise what the club has done to our women’s team? Quote

I’m sure there’s far bigger fish to fry, but lots of small ones can add up too. Thanks for your reply. Edited yesterday at 22:16 by wilsdenrover Quote

There were some rumours that Pasha was going to great lengths to convey to the owners, that everything is good at the club. So much so that he was trying to doctor some of the TV coverage there were seeing. No doubt the recent appearance of the Pasha out banner in Spain, caused more angst, as it would have been very difficult for him to do anything with those highlights to ensure the owners did not see it, assuming they watched the highlights. The more pressure on him the better, as he should be target number one at Ewood, now that Waggott has gone and him falling, could be significant. 5 Quote

I may be wrong, but I really don’t see the owners being interested in the slightest in watching the highlights of a pre-season friendly in Spain. 5 Quote

roverblue Posted 16 hours ago Posted 16 hours ago I’d be amazed if the Venky’s even know names of any players or any result week to week. They have shown no interest in Rovers for years now and their motivation remains a mystery. Quote
