Has anyone heard from Adan Hussain Blackburns MP on the Venky situation?

Jack Straw would have been shouting our plight from the rooftops, I’ve heard nothing from the current Blackburn MP?

Is he a Rovers fan?

He’s an MP chaddy, represents his constituents, I’ve heard nothing from him on any football matters?

I hope the heat does really get turned up on Tuesdays home game with an unbearable atmosphere for Shadowprick and his lowly aide.

this weekend has been one where there was no excitement pre game, missed the game and pure apathy. I miss still really caring about the club and the excitement, it’s hard to be excited watching the heart and soul of something be ripped from it and then pathetic attempts to engender fans from the club for the 150th..

There will be no heat. The ground will be empty and there will be no heat on anyone even if we do lose which is more likely than not.

Even if we continue to do badly over the next few games. The recepient of the most abuse will not be on the owners who deserve it the most, not on Suhail who deserves it, not on Gestede who deserves it, not even on Ismael who deserves some, it will be aimed at the manager whose job became untenable and has been portrayed as a villain and a snake.

Just been told he's got plenty to say about Maccabi fans being banned from Villa Park, so he does have an interest in football I'd assume? Can anyone expand on this?

I know he got in on the Gaza issue, but does he do anything for the town?

Personally, I think we have had very poor support from our politicians, local radio and paper..

WATR met with him.  He sounded interested but delivered nothing. Rovers are not part of his remit.

Do they ban people taking food into the ground?

Take a load of apples and lob them on to interrupt the game, may be easier than the usual tennis balls.

Hussain isn't interested unless it's anything to do with Palestine.

Even Jack Straw concluded that it's not for the footballing Authorities to intervene when a Club is being run badly (which I actually agree with) but it doesn't help us in our current situation unless anyone can uncover genuine proof of actual wrong doing.

There is hardly anyone left at Ewood to protest.  We were lucky if we managed 5k home fans in last night; all we had were a few shouts of “you don’t know what you’re doing” and a banner for the last few minutes saying ‘Pasha Out’ - I doubt if anyone outside of the Rovers fan base (and even some of our fans) knows who Pasha is.

The Sheffield Wednesday home game should be the target for a joint protest with the Owls supporters.

Terrible results are the only thing that get dissent in the ground, even with the rump left. So it will happen organically… not that it matters one jot.

The regime’s only card to get the heat off is sack VI. New guy comes in and it will be straight back to ‘just get behind ‘em’

Rinse and repeat until in non-league.

I agree - the time has been & gone to protest.

Due to lack of action from any of the fan groups (other than the clever manipulation of the media last season by Glen) we will now get what we deserve in my opinion.

Venkys Out is the only solution, it always has been. Pasha, Rudy, Ismael, Talbot etc are just employees and are irrelevant given the wider context of 15 years of incompetent ownership by Venky’s.

Figured this out a while ago and didn’t want to believe it. Have a look at the visible Rovers supporter personalities that refused to back a boycott early on in the Coalition campaign, for example. “I won’t let Venkys take my enjoyment away from me.” You have to submit to a higher purpose to achieve something like ousting your ownership and you have to do it in numbers. Too many would rather moan about it on Twitter or podcasts than actually take action. They’ve also all got an opinion on the actions of others trying to make a difference. Anyone trying to do so for this club is on a hiding to nothing.
