A small group of anything is ineffective. It would just look like a stag do anything that happens now needs to be shit or bust, all or nothing en mass

Suit yourself - you dont need to do it - I was rather thinking of a number of small groups scattered all over the ground for this particular purpose.

I would hope that any protests are from now on are concerted and continuing not a huge one off effort, then nothing.

Great meeting with MP,

Supporters will be heading back to Parliament with him to bring us back to the fore nationally.

Open supporters meeting 14th November , venue to be confirmed.

A whole host of other things discussed which will be raised in town council meeting on 14th November.

Some great traction initiatives too.

@Miller11 will give greater insight (packing for my holidays).

Organised protest will return against Derby county with multiple protests/angles before , during and after.

The fight starts now!!

Sheff Wednesdays best publicity was probably from the away match at Leicester, where the fans refused to take seats until 5th minute and the entire stadium applauded the effort. It made all the national papers.

We have great away support, we should pick a game, maybe a Tv game  and target with the same message.

To add if not mentioned previously,  we've already met with independent regulator too and other MPs going to come together too, with the message.

I wouldn't mind some lighthearted banners in support of the players on a match day. They are being thrown under the bus by a dangerous manager too.

Would be mine. At this rate nearly all English players that might command a reasonable wage now or in the future will be sold. That isn't how a club like ours is built.

Ismael is paving the way for a further exodus and there is less and less rapport between the fans, the manager and players.

Perhaps the club can add that to their "rate your match day experience" answers. It's not worth the entry fee at the minute.

Thank fuck, we are finally starting to fight back. Let’s hope all with genuine love and passion of our football club, get on board to help us reclaim our club and make sure that Blackburn Rovers is still around for the 160th.

I know our MP has said all the right things in the past and delivered nothing on Rovers. He has plenty to say about Maccabi fans in the media, lets hope that same passion can be channelled for the town he represents, the club & he actually produces the goods.

You will never convince that sizeable percentage of the fanbase, there’s always a reason why we can’t compare and it’s Venky’s or liquidation. This time it’s because Sheff Wed ‘have a much bigger fanbase’.

Talks of a total boycott are pie in the sky at Rovers at the moment. I might be wrong, but I’d imagine it would have been pie in the sky at Sheff Wed before players and staff stopped getting paid, and a winding up order became a very real prospect. 
 

Too many of the fanbase here are satisfied as long as the owners continue to do the absolute minimum and ‘pay the bills’. I would say posters on here are probably some of the most informed regarding the last 15 years. A lot of fans don’t deep dive in to the ownership, the board, the involvement of SEM, the degradation of the playing staff, facilities  and general standards. I’d be amazed if most of them know who Pasha is tbh. They go to Rovers for the social element, it’s their routine and they won’t be swayed on that. Every fanbase will be like that. We aren’t some strange anomaly.

It's incredibly beneficial for the town as a whole if we can become a more attractive business and get people wanting to go again.

you will only get more people through the turnstiles by the indians ****** off and the club being run properly again,the last 15 years have decimated the support,we are down to the die hards and regulars now,there is no incentive for the casual fan to attend

Fair point Jimmy  but the social element still includes the day at the ground, where the whole experience  has been for a long time and probably currently still is a non existent atmosphere and just a drag  - the idea of a social element is about it being an enjoyable and fulfilling despite the result - don't tell me anybody actually feels  good about this at present and actually enjoys it...

That’s in Glenn and Duncan’s court, imo. They look like they’re spearheading something sound behind the scenes. Whatever it is, we all need to get behind and be one unified protest movement.
