Toth Just looking for some inside info on Toths performance, style, ability etc. There isn't really any separating discussion of the two players. If Pears doesn't get dropped, it won't matter what Toth is like. You'll just have to accept that discussion involving Pears is an inevitable outcome of discussing Toth, especially whilst he is in Toth's pathway. It's a bit like how discussion of club finances inevitably comes up in the transfer window thread. 1 Quote

Yeh that was it really. Other than that he was just passing it around at the back a bit under no real pressure. Carlisle didn't have a shot on or off target I believe. 1 Quote
philipl Posted September 26, 2024 Posted September 26, 2024 I would really like to see Toth in action but if his mere presence consistently turns Pears from a liability to a clean sheet every game, he is a transfer fee well spent. I fear we will.persist with pears too long and we will toss away 3 points for want of making the switch earlier. 4 Quote

Him and the coaches are watching all these players in training and they'll make a decision when Toth is ready to come in. Like you say maybe his presence is helping Pears. Maybe Pears has a good GK to learn from too. Looking forward to more opportunities to see Toth play 2 Quote
KentExile Posted Friday at 16:47 Posted Friday at 16:47 (edited) He is on the bench for Hungary tonight against JDTs Sweden (Ayari starting for Sweden) Hopefully since it is just a friendly he gets his first cap in the 2nd half. Seeing as their other 2 keepers are both 34, they surely have to think about giving him a go at some point? Edited Friday at 16:54 by KentExile Quote

Ricceh Posted yesterday at 10:35 Posted yesterday at 10:35 (edited) For what it's worth people are generally fed up with Rossi and his one dimensional thought process. They essentially just try and get the ball to Szoboszlai. Bazsi not getting a run out is because he probably isn't thinking too far ahead. Starting tonight though Edited yesterday at 15:31 by Ricceh Quote
Bohinen1983 Posted yesterday at 16:11 Posted yesterday at 16:11 Good to see out Balaz getting a start tonight.. Decent side too are Hungary! 1 Quote
alex l Posted yesterday at 16:19 Posted yesterday at 16:19 Conceded within 5 mins unfortunately! But they got level shortly after. Quote
Polky Posted yesterday at 18:24 Posted yesterday at 18:24 Subbed off after 58 minutes, hopefully just a friendly match rotation and not an injury. Quote

Upside Down Posted yesterday at 20:02 Author Posted yesterday at 20:02 (edited) This lad should have been in the nets all season. Highly likely we'd have finished in the playoffs had he been in there rather than the walking disaster that is Pears. Great that he's got a start for Hungary.
