Radagast Posted March 17, 2005 Posted March 17, 2005 I still have to wait for the Idlewild cd, because over here it will be released next month. Sounds like you like it. Haven't decided yet - Indie albums always take a while for me to come to a conclusion on. The and were just there for the opposing moods the two albums bring about. PS: dan - looks like we finally agree on something.

roversWASmylife Posted March 18, 2005 Posted March 18, 2005 Has anyone got the new album by the Stereophonics, Language, Sex, Violence, Other? If so, what do you think of it?
Radagast Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 I think its the worst title for an album I've ever seen.
mode_m Posted March 19, 2005 Posted March 19, 2005 The new Stereophonics album is good. I like Dakota, Lolita, and Rewind the best off it.
Dan Furness Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Funniest remix ever just on radio 1 chav mix of Cilit Bang advert

Friarsnig Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Just lately I have been listening to 'Steppin' Out', recorded around 1966 by John Mayall's Bluesbreakers with Eric Clapton. It's great blues music, and Clapton's Les Paul sounds awesome.
colin Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Just recently I have been listening to "Cornology" the best of The Bonzo Dog Band. A punk stopped me in the street He said "Have you got a light Mac?" I said "No, but I've got a dark brown overcoat."
mode_m Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 How about some good spring songs... Beatles - here comes the sun (i know its very predictable for me to chose this but its just so fitting) Stereophonics - Have a nice day Pearl Jam - Yellow ledbetter ( maybe more of a summer song, nonetheless i like listening to it in spring) Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Scartissue Sam Roberts - Brother down The Verve - Bittersweet Symphony and... Stone Roses - She Bangs the drums
S15 Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Pearl Jam - Yellow ledbetter ( maybe more of a summer song, nonetheless i like listening to it in spring) Red Hot Chilli Peppers - Scartissue Pearl Jam YL is a summer song... though live any time of year I guess.... Scar Tissue is a autumn song I reckon.... Saying that our summers and autumns probably differ to yours!
Friarsnig Posted March 22, 2005 Posted March 22, 2005 Been listening to Steeleye Span, and Fairport Convention, up on Hadrian's Wall in the last couple of days. Music, like food and beer, is so much better in the open air.
