to be fair to the Port Vale Marketing team they're not working for Saachi and Saachi and will be doing about 15 'marketing/promotion' jobs, spread across social media, commercial, hospitality, events and whatever else might come under their remit so I can let them off

Possibly a pertinent location, an old ground or something perhaps

That would be even worse for the marketing, their old ground is now Hanley's main shopping centre. At least a garden and a wall and some trees is better than the benches outside the food court.

It helps they have Ryan Grant, wherever he goes he seems to make a success of the marketing.

Used to be at Rovers.

Is that the fella who did a brilliant job with Rovers social media, I remember there was an 18 month period where the content was very good, quite funny, original and in touch with the audience

Yeah, he was at Rovers during the League 1 promotion season. It seemed like he played a massive part in changing the narrative around the club during that season. I think he went to Man Utd and then the EFL after us which shows how well his work was viewed. Although Port Vale a much smaller club in comparison, looks like he's stepped up to Head of/Director level there.

Imagine getting qualified people in at that level, instead of some lads who did an internship at QPR last summer.

He joined us from Man U. Was one of our early guests on the podcast & was always very helpful to BRFCS. The day after he left, Rovers unfollowed us on Twitter which was a level of petty I always begrudgingly admired…😆

Did they agree on a mid July date for the next one? I want to read them crowing about ‘heading towards 9,000 season tickets sold’, ‘larger revenue than Preston!’

It’s still on track to be then, aye.
Pre meet is tonight, which I unfortunately can’t make, but other forum members will be there, I imagine.

Absolutely buzzing for the fallout from this one.

"It's going to be an exciting summer"

Our 3 best players at the club leave at the end of the season, probably realistically leave this summer.

Little to no investment in the club, and various failed transfers.

Women's team disbanded (a Rovers Academy women has scored in every game this Euros so far)

Need around 8 new signings currently (that's excluding Brittains departure)

Gestede saying "any sales we make won't impact the budget" what is the point and what sort of fucked up plan is that?

Category 1 academy (no confirmation yet as to whether we have retained that for this season - needs checking.

Pasha still in post, get confirmation that he is the CEO, there's absolutely zero chance he's a COO (given the job title of the CEO leaked there's no chance that's a CEO job)

Waggott was shit at his job (but why the sudden exit)

No friendly organised the week before the season starts?

Companies house lack of update (breach)

Yasir - commercial targets and retention? What's his actual role, various people there's been zero attempt to retain supporters. Why isn't he doing his job right? Or is that not his remit? What's he targeted on? What does he see success as? Currently I see zero success.

Football kits - 150th anniversary, teasing badges, lost engagement with people that actually knew the history of Rovers, it's a flop and cheap, why didn't they engage the people who actually knew the history? (Is the Maltese logo actually relevant to rovers)

That's just a list off the top of my head - @K-Hod @glen9mullan @Miller11

Could you send this to the club, you never know, if they are pre-warned they may look into the questions, and be able to give reasonable answers at the meeting.

Happy for the post to be hidden, maybe should have sent it via IM

Don't do that.

They shouldn't need any preparation for these questions, they should have the answers right then and there on the spot.

I know they should be able to answer the questions, but it leaves them with the out of : We haven't got the answers to hand, but we will look into it.

That's where you tell them that simply isn't good enough.

These questions shouldn't even need to be asked in the first place.

Hats off RoversClitheroe - that’s a very very good summary of the summer so far and reading that shows just how dismal this club really is at present.

The 150 anniversary is a huge opportunity and so wide of the mark so far

Thank you Glen and co who attended

looking forward to the minutes

@glen9mullan were the answers given sensible? Is there any room for optimism?

Importantly Suhail was there,

Let's see the minutes and take it from there.

Not ideal as I dont operate this way, but important to respect the FF code of practice

Based on last time they will be out in about 4 weeks. Of course they should be published within 48 hours but those attending know the information so no rush. Takes a long time to concisely write up (edit) 3 hours into 2 pages for the peasants.

Can't give an exact timeframe on the release of the minutes, but hopefully, it's sooner, rather than later.

No need for anyone to regard themselves as peasants for not having the information immediately and certainly no need to have any concerns about them being edited.

In all fairness too, the meeting was nearly 2 hours long last night, so any minutes won't include it verbatim......

In any event, if I don't feel the minutes included something vital, either myself, or one of the other posters on here in attendance, would share that with the forum.
