There is no way they spent around 10 million pull your head out of the clouds i think the next accounts will tell a truer picture of around half that spent.

Around 10 million in fees maybe committed over time including various add ons but not spent.

Like fees are normally done over installments in a 6 months/12 months periods with addons.

We did neither.

We've been cost cutting like feck for the last few years, feel like you'd have noticed?

So are did buy Gudjohnsen, Tavares, Morishita for around £2m each then add other signings..its around £10m.

Original budget as £5m wasnt it?

Yes we sold players for more but still committed to 10m

Yes we are cost cutting in other areas as previously mentioned like in pitch, stadium repairs and up keep, basic and boring food and drinks served.

Yep, you can nit pick until the cows come home as to whether the headline fees quoted either in or out are completely accurate.

However the bottom line is that in summer we sold decent quality, and bought in lesser quality at a moderately negative net spend, and presumably a massive reduction in the wage bill.

And find ourselves struggling badly. As 99% of supporters predicted would happen in advance.

Quite surprising really.

They won't be accurate and if they are anywhere near, whoever picked out Taveres for £2m needs sacking immediately.

Most fees paid over the length of 3 or 4 year contracts meaning we've actually 'spent' far less and the rest will no doubt be covered by future sales.

So the re-investment to date from the Wharton/Sammy sales etc is minimal.

John Williams was always firmly of the view your finish in the table was roughly commensurate with the size of your wage bill in comparison to everyone else.

I don't completely subscribe to that but by now our wage bill must be amongst the lowest in the Championship and that's exactly where we find ourselves.

I wouldn't be surprised if where we are right now in the division is right on where we'd be in the first team wages table.

Mostly in life or business you get more or less what you pay for.

The imbalanced in the summer is in 2 areas which is right wing back and centre back areas. centre midfielder areas we are well stick but injuries has had impact. But we also need to factor in moving to 3-5-2 formation has improved results.

We spend around 10m this summer and reinvest money from Sales. How we choose transfer targets is question people will continue to ask. some signings will be good and they get praise and other won't and they get criticise for

You dont factor in quality.

We have a large number of players mainly signed in the summer who in theory should provide that cover but are that bad that they dont.

The injuries we have in midfield wouldnt be problematic if Tavares wasnt woeful, Henriksson wasnt woeful and Baradji wasnt signed with a long term injury.

Its easier just to make excuses.

Cut backs in wages overlooked.

Cut backs in concourse food quality for some reason not overlooked.

You don't factor in giving players time to settle in.

You are obsess with Baradji being signed injured

Unless we know what the exactly wages how do we. When people post wage salaries you dismissed it as BS

yet you were moaning about queueing up for a beer..

I would be spend around 10 pounds per game if it served decent food instead local businesses get that money. Rovers food options have been dire for years pre Venkys. You go to Hull and its very good offer of food on show so why cant we do the same
