Mattyblue Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago A club of our stature, spent pretty much twenty years in the top flight, stuck down here since and one manager has been sacked (and that was too late) in a decade. As always, not normal. 1 Quote

I don't envisage any situation occurring for the rest of the season that would result in his dismissal, and I include relegation in that. Only chance he's going if Pasha is stabbing everyone in the back right now in India (and he will be) and putting a case forward that he can salvage everything and turn it all around. That would probably be the end for both VI and RG. He'll just be over there telling them he can handle it and if they get a CEO a cheap one with no remit other than to oversee all the heads of heads will be fine. And serve as a handy distraction for him and Rudy who will be perceived to have done great work bringing in a year or two's running costs and reducing the wage bill in real terms. Results, performances and league position will be secondary to all that, especially when he tells them whose wages we can lose in Jan and who he is expecting offers for in summer. Quote

The final shortlist was Ismael or Wagner Quote
roversfan99 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Reports doing a lot of heavy lifting there. Pretty safe to assume that those 4 didnt all sit round a table and agree equally. Quote
Mattyblue Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago ‘Val will do it cheaper, so go for him’ being the conclusion of the brains trust, I’d imagine. 1 Quote

An absolutely dreadful appointment that could be seen from miles off. Quote

lraC Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Taking what was said before a ball was kicked, it was suggested that we had a stronger squad than last year. In total crap, as we know. Quote

Dependant on the market (ie if Aldi have a special on or not) they might turn to the LCC and discuss the possibility of loans... Quote

How can you judge Adam Owen when alot of work will be done behind the scenes which we won't see. On Gestede, I think we need experience DoF with knowledge and contacts in the European and world markets. Gestede hasn't renewed enough contracts of key players or even up and coming players Montgomery and Pratt. That is a massively mistake. Is he solely responsible for transfers, no he isnt, so I dont totally blame but the transfer team(Gestede, Owen, Ismael, Cairney) need to look at what works, what didnt work and what could be done differently. Browjd Posted 13 minutes ago Posted 13 minutes ago Just watched the interview. He looks knackered, frustrated and it feels all too familiar...Doesn't get the 4 signings he wants and is gone by mid Feb is my guess... 1 Quote

For example, if Wrexham's Striker Ryan Hardie is only available for loan given the fact, he is championship experience, know the league and can hit the ground running. Surely you would be interest even if it just a loan or loan to perm deal? Quote
