Means absolutely nothing. True, none of us (other than the keepers) know how good or otherwise Benson is. It just gets a bit tiresome when people with no knowledge of his ability as a coach criticise him with no foundation.Ā 6 Quote
roversfan99 Posted yesterday at 17:20 Posted yesterday at 17:20 And if the keepers are asked publically they will always say how good they are. Quote

Our best GK in recent times (Kaminski) spoke really highly of Benson, during his time here. Not sure why so many people seem to have such a low opinion of him, to be honest. 6 Quote

Proudtobeblue&white Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago They are destroying the club by a thousand cuts, appalling. 1 Quote

Same with David Lowe!Ā Think Eustace saw through Lowe and tried to sideline him with scouting missions.Ā Eustace leaves and Lowe interim Head Coach!Ā Think we are one great mess with, IMO, too many in the club who fail to meet the required standard but seemingly untouchable.Ā Think there has been so much dumbing down across all areas in Rovers that we are not that far off rock bottom. 2 hours ago, Tugayisgod said: Maybe because of this , Goddard , "Iām very grateful to have two great goalie coaches in Ben Benson and Chris Renshaw, and for their continued support and belief in me." What would you really expect the lad to say when he's been given a new contract!? Think the view of one of the world's best goalies (Raya) would be more pertinent given one of the reasons for him leaving the club was seemingly to team up with the Spanish goalie coach at Brentford. Obviously they will speak highly of him.Ā 1 Quote

You have to chuckle.Ā Selling our club captain (who's in the last year of his deal because we can't authorise contract suitable extensions) to a newly promoted team is quite amusing. About as amusing as losing Eustace to Derby. Football purgatory. Embrace it. Quote
roversfan99 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Selling our captain and one of our best players to Wrexham would I think be a new low. 9 Quote

Microsoft Excel training course for Gestede. loan deal for a 16 year old Liverpool player that will be ready for Championship foolball in 4 years. More Indian solicitors to see if they can push the court date out even further. Ā 5 Quote
JHRover Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago Remember that the real headline here is that Rovers want to sell their captain (and indeed anyone else they can get money for). If they didn't want to sell them they would have tried to keep them beyond next summer. They haven't tried, so they want them to go. Who they go to and how much we get are secondary. 3 Quote
Gamst Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago The urgent priority when the season ended was to tie key players down to new contracts. Brittain, Batth, Travis, Tronstad and Dolan. These are the mainstays of the team that got us to the brink of the playoffs last season. Zero contracts signed so far and very little talk of anything imminent. Seeing as players have stated they want to stay, they shouldnāt be hard deals to complete. You have to assume the plan is to sell the players. More asset stripping.Ā 3 Quote

Eustace from a top 6 club to a bottom 3 club, Travis maybe to Wrexham and make no mistake there will be more 'headlines'.Ā Think the writing is on the wall about Brittain and Tronstrad. With Pasha and Gestede effectively running Rovers, nothing at all would surprise me.Ā I shudder about their abilities for such roles - totally unsuited IMO. If you had any financIal / commercial / insolvency experience then you would recognise, even for a football club, Rovers are something of an exception to the rule. Forget what I consider is bullshit about the 'benefactor model', there is, IMO, something inherently wrong with our club.Ā Our owners are not not local folk or lifelong Rovers' fans who have a strong emotional attachment where often the heart rules the head, they are supposedly wise Indian business folk and that being the case, I would have expected them to have cut and run a long time ago.Ā Is there a reason why they seemingly wont try to sell the club?Ā If they ever do, my services to carry out due diligence are there for any prospective investor free of charge.
