Even when you are told something in confidence, you can't always 'use' that information at the time owing to obvious sensitivities.

I think you will find I only posted about the link to the Plymouth job once Eustace had been appointed Derby manager even though I knew about the link back in January - interestingly, I don't recall one challenge to the post at the time.

I have not said "sorry not saying who told me" but did say 'I was not going to name him' for obvious reasons that anyone with an ounce of intelligence should understand!

I understand and anyone with an ounce of intelligence should understand other people’s scepticism. See how it works

Your views and opinions matter not to me - you are an irrelevance with seemingly little knowledge about the real world.

If you don't think my postings are credible then I suggest you simply ignore.

Hard to believe anyone thinks your posts are credible to be quite honest, you’ve posted an insane amount of bullshit and never get anything right 😂

You’re the biggest bullshitter on here when it comes to transfers, but we all love you Mercer.

Hope this evenings Red is going down well my friend, let’s hope we pull a rabbit or two out of the hat for this coming season.

I’m off to watch Neil Young at Glasto, have a good evening all.

Ah, so the totally legitimate transfer targets have failed, now it's time to bring in the youngsters on loan

Not even a youngster. At 23 if he's not made it by now he never will at Brighton.

Convinced it will be Kapaudi when we’ve done everything we can to knock the price down, followed by another overseas forward on the cheap and a couple of premiership loans to buff the squad out.

Why wouldn't someone else come in and gazump is now that they know he's available?

The main area that needed work coming into the summer was the attack. We dont have enough goals in the team, we didnt even with Dolan and Weimann.

If the next one in is a centre back, I hope it doesnt leave very little to strengthen the attack. We badly need a right winger, a striker and a number 10.

Can’t see a player who’s 27 and knocked about in Eastern Europe for the past 6 years catching the eye of many other clubs can you?

Aside from a couple of goals in the conference league last year seems a bit of a no mark.

I’m sure his wage demands will be 50% or more less than Danny Batth’s , the lad might turn out decent for us, but hardly had an inspiring career to date that will be catching the eye of other clubs.

If Wolves thought he was up to it I’m sure they would’ve parted with the couple of million required by now.

Premier League clubs? No.

Championship clubs? Absolutely.

It's another slo-mo car crash, neatly staged to paper over the obvious cracks, but designed ultimately with the INTENTION of driving our club downhill into the ground.

Get ready Bamber Bridge, for another burial. MMW.

VENKYS OUT!

Right, so they've taken a look at him for 6 months and thought "nah".

They chased him for a few years, he was on the brink of signing in 2023 too but it collapsed literally at the last minute on deadline day. Brightons recruitment team get a lot right but I find this one a bit odd.

Agree on Kapaudi point.

But you also need to created more chances in games whether its being abit more attacking or having more pace in team.

Still need 4 or 5 in. Centre back and right winger are the main ones at the moment but we need some out who aren't going to regular starters or not willing to be number 2 all season

Mm, “ several clubs “. When did we last sign a player when “ several clubs “ were interested ?  Rovers are a shambles behind the scenes at the moment, even the football dogs in the street know that. The only reason a player would come here instead of another club is for more money and that won’t be happening.

We are relying on no competitors coming in for Kapuadi. Could be this summer’s De Lange. He seems to have good pedigree and if he’s interested in coming to us we need to get it sorted.
