What a dreadful summer window so far, although it is mostly going as expected I would have thought we could at least have managed to retain a 35yr old Batth.

Does anyone know what happened to Pasha in the end? Its clear that the meagre budget and ambition comes from him it needs as much pressure as possible to oust him.

Last season, are the most relevant words of your statement. there is absolutely nothing to say he will have another good season. We will just have to wait and see.

Don't understand your beef with Batth.

Signing him up for another 12 months was an absolute no brainer.

Consulting the squad list for the second half of last season (published 7th Feb), we have now lost 8 players (just under a third).  Taking in to account the additions of De Neve and Tavares we are net -6.  Wharton will come back in but hasn't played competitive football for 16 months. 

Net -6 headcount, pre-season underway, best centre half gone, 14 league goals (26% of last seasons total) out the door, and only Jake Batty signing a new contract since November 2023.
