Told Rovers have had a winger at Brockhall this week from overseas.Β  Not clear atm what the next steps are.

Unless I have missed it, not seen mention of this anywhere.

Im glad you said it, it's what I've been thinking!

What are the chances of some sort of mystery problem causing the Miller deal to collapse in best O Brien/Mcguire/Baradji fashion?

Followed by RG telling us how it's an "exciting opportunity" for the other RB we signed to show what he can do.

What do you get out of spreading so much muck btw? Notice you didn’t quote tweet yourself saying Britain signed a new contract πŸ˜‚Β

Or respond or apologise to rovers99 for saying his information was erroneous and a figment of his imagination

I'd say if they've got big money to throw down then fair play but we won't hardly see a fucking penny... So no point selling him.Β

Β

They'll definitely entertain offers though and wouldn't be surprised if his agent knows the magic number and has been doing his best to find a buyer.Β

Your not on Twitter so how would you know?

Unbelievable ignorance.

Is Twitter the only social media platform that folk post on?

Is this MB not a social media platform?Β  Have you not heard of NewsNow which collates gossip, speculation and news from wide ranging sources?

What I have just posted is in good faith based on what a very good source has told me.Β  It is not muck spreading.

For the umpteenth time, I do not use Twitter.

Might have escaped your notice but between my posting about a Rovers announcement about Brittain's contract and the Stanley game, Middlesbrough made their move which changed everything.

I like Gueye, but any gulf club could offer him 10x more wages, and probably give Pasha a profit on resale which is all he cares about; ditto for Brittain in that regard.

Been rumors all summer that Ismael didn't think Gueye fits his style, based on games last season rather than actually watching preseason. I think it would be a shame to lose his power and size as an option up top, and he's a great personality to have in the squad.

We were linked to a Nkada from Ligue 2 in France earlier in summer so might be him; or even we go back for Guebbells.

Not sure if already said but the guy who has stated about Gueye bid is the same guy who called his move to us last year and also called the De Neve transfer. Β Very reliable

Then why would you say you haven’t seen it anywhere else if you don’t include Twitter which is one of if not the most common source for transfer information? Think about it

And while your thinking about it I hope your ready to apologise to rovers99 for pretty much calling him a liarΒ

Clearly not.

Seems you were right in it being posted on Twitter days earlier.

However, just seems strange no one, including yourself, on this MB who uses Twitter posted about it despite the concerns expressed by a number of posters on the Pre Season thread about the lack of a friendly game for this coming weekend.Β  Those posters included Chaddy who claims he saw the Twitter post yet made posts on 20 July about behind closed door friendlies being arranged for this weekend.

What I posted about the Netherlands' friendly on 20 July was to my knowledge not in any media, news or social, that I use.Β  As stated earlier today, I was told about the friendly by a Rovers' employee.

It's not about spending what you wish it's just being able to invest up front in the first year of a new cycle but no one seems to be a hundred percent sure how it all works so it's no wonder clubs fall foul of it.

I'm not up to speed on any of it but i did read somewhere it's different rules in league 1 so presumed they might get a reset on promotion to the Championship although that wouldn't make much sense either.

They are going to have to go some in the next few years to cover the fees and wages they are chucking around but with an average gate probably less than us.

But spending up front would be an advantage as it’s a rolling cycle so no β€˜long term’ championship club has that luxury.

I agree the rules are as clear as mud - in terms of promoted clubs they say what they must do (provide the figures as I mentioned earlier) but don’t make clear as to why they must do this.

In terms of their spending - their turnover was above ours* in their league two season (for reasons I seem to recall you alluding to earlier) and presumably has only continued to grow.

Whether this assumed increase is enough to keep them within whatever FFP rules apply to them I guess only time will tell.

* I think this is correct, if not it was very close to being so.Β

Ordinarily I would be happy to sell Gueye. I dont think hes been a successful signing and crucially I think when he comes in for Ohashi, it causes such a shift in how we play. We have lost our only good crosser so to cut our losses (or probably a profit) on Gueye and sign a more suitable player to really push Ohashi would be better.

Obviously, the concern here is that we dont get a replacement. And also the fact that we havent made any attempts to strengthen the attack will leave us short temporarily.

I wonder how much they are offering? A loan with an obligation would delight the top brass at Ewood. Can't reinvest the money but gives us a guaranteed income for the future, so the billionaire owners don't need to dip so far into their pockets.

What did we sign him for? Β£1m? If they come in with Β£2m, he's gone.

You are being incredibly pedantic.

How many times have I said I am not part of the Twatterati.

I think you are just aggressively trolling and you should find something more constructive to post.
