Am I right in thinking this is the extent of the transfers thus far?

In
Sidney Tavares
Dion de Neve
Ryan Alebiosu
Sean McLoughlin

Out
JRC
Danny Baath
Tyrhys Dolan
Andreas Weimann

So, given the expenditure perhaps exceeding income, as far as anyone can make out, (not taking into account wages saved), we will need to sell to either a) balance the books as they stand b) before we think of bringing anyone else new in. That would lead to the conclusion that there will likely be selling of assets ie one or all of Brittain, Travis, Tronstad.

All guesswork of course.

We will surely see Derby coming in for Brittain

Derby are bidding for Johnstone from Sturm Graz who is a right back.Bid turned down last week and an improved bid turned down over the weekend.

Brittain will probably be announced by Boro tomorrowΒ

We can't possibly need to sell. So much has walked out of the door.

IrakliΒ Yegoian a good attacking CAM/RM will be going cheap now with his club in Holland going under, would be a good buy but far to short for Val

Hackney turned down Ipswich so Boro might not have them money for the transfer any more.

Boro also trying to persuade Akpom to return, if they're going head to head with Brum for him, you'd expect it'll cost them a few quid....

They've been very quite on the transfer front Boro but look to be making a few moves now...

Won’t count for much with that manager in charge. Poor poor appointmentΒ

Not the debate the fact he’s labelled a massive loss I disagree

when beck started last year we won 8 and lost 8Β

when beck was out of the team we won 8 lost 8

beck is better and likely to have a better career but we have enough to cover the void as shown aboveΒ

Beck suffered with injury. There are so many variables...like who else was missing in those games...who the opposition was , how many games home and away etcΒ

Imo Derby have a better left back and all round player as Beck can do a job left side of a 3 behind the striker and I'm jealous they have him but the concern with him is the injuries

The winning run toward the end of the season when Ribiero picked up most his wins was towards the end and as decent as a run as it was we played a few who had absolutely nothing to play for

Mate I'd love to play Derby with Beck playing LW.Β

He's not got the close control for it.

When we had Pickering behind him and Beck was linking up with.Cantwell I thought it looked good and Cantwell had his better games when Beck was out there imoΒ

I'd rather an decent attacking player out there but I don't think Beck looked out of place there myself and it made that left side solid so il disagreeΒ

Is he better yes Iv stated as much

is he a massive loss? No becasue we have shown we have players capable of playing in his position getting similar resultsΒ

ps he’s injured againΒ

Wouldn’t worry about players not being announced. Sunday usually a quiet day. Media team and managers might be unavailable to announce the transfer. Can’t see Ismael being down Brockhall today after playing in Holland yesterday

We’ve got a board ? Wow. Who are the lucky people ?

Hibs' manager was asked about Miller. Usual non committal managerial spiel, but he did say that he is still injured.Β

There seems to be some mystery about the injury. First Alan Nixon said 2 months which turned out to be badly wrong. It was reported by Elliott Jackson that he might be able to train this week, which would be ideal because he will almost certainly be first choice so if we could get him starting next weekend or at least in the cup game, then that would have been great. But clearly not.

No reporters over here seem to have picked up on the Henriksson story.

Ismael doesnt seem happy about the contract situation.

You said you would be happy with 3 including Miller covering right back and centre back.

I contested such a low number, you then totally moved the goalposts and created another "squad plan" with 5 new additions rather than the initial 3 you said you felt that we needed, yet continued with your initial argument.

So you now dont think 3 is enough and youve added 2 more.

such a low number? We will have 27 players.Β

I have explained and what your original post didn't take into account is Brittain's replacement and whether Leonard will be that 3rd striker or we loan him out and bring in a replacementΒ

I was basing it on you saying 3 including Miller. Then naming yet another squad with 5 new signings.

As ever, you move the goalposts and start going off on tangents.
