With the exception of free transfers, every player that everyone signs is for an undisclosed fee

It has to be unless both clubs agree otherwise.

I doubt thereโ€™s many occasions when both clubs would benefit from the fee being known.

Personally I think all fees should have to be disclosed.ย

Unless I am in the room how would we know. You act and posted like everything is Rovers fault but isn't the case. Some players will want and stay, some will move on cos they want a new challenge, some want more money than what we want to pay so move on or a middle ground can be found and agree terms.ย

But you know all this RF99

My point was about the transfer business and us signing players that fitted in Ismael's profile of playerย

When it is such a continuous pattern, and it stretches beyond the odd player running it down. When we have extended one players contract in is it nearly 2 years, and that was a new signing that signed on a peculiar 6 month deal.

When we have key players coming out and saying they hadnt been even talked to at easter, with 1 year to go.

Then yes, it is Rovers' fault.ย

Funny how foreign fans seem to bear no animosity to players leaving their club, wishing them all the best. Yet over here they are regarded somehow as traitors for daring to leave for new challenges.

Maybe it's just the British mentality.

If you are talking about Henriksson it's every Scandinavian footballer's dream to play in England. Fans follow English football too and don't begrudge their players that oportunity. Besides, a move to England usually give their clubs a significant cash boost.

If that's the case (I have no idea so will accept you at your word), and it is legally possible to do so in the UK/Europe, then I would love to see it in football here too

I wonder whether disclosing how many players we have per โ€˜wage scaleโ€™ (eg ยฃ2,500 - ยฃ4,999 pw) would get around any data protection issues?

Do we know if Miyoshi takes set pieces?

No point having this big, physical side if Cantwell / Hedges are chipping the dead balls into the box.

Not something he is known for

Against Everton, De Neve actually looked like hie could put in a decent whipped corner, however I've seen little of that in the other friendlies following that one

As pro footballers I would expect any of them to be able to deliver a decent dead ball. In the training sessions, stop the fucking about and get practicing the dead ball crosses.ย

They can put a good delivery in against me and you.

Against fellow pros though it's definitely a skill to do so.

It's the most important ingredient we're missing now.

A good delivery is a good delivery, practice makes perfect.

He did the same at Stanley, whipped a couple of good corners and a free kick in.

Said at the time , looks like he's going to be on set pieces.ย

Only highlights clip I could find of him, it's from years ago from his time in Japan and Belgium, but perhaps gives a flavour. Apologies if already posted.

BBD wasn't signing a new contract cos he wanted an overseas move, Rothwell wanted away from different reasons. Broughton repeatably tried to get Dolan to re-sign yet he didn't want to.ย

So your comment that a continuous pattern is wrong.

Hasn't Tronstad said in a Norwegian podcast he will move back to Norway at the end of the season?ย ย

No, it is a pattern. We cant get players to sign contracts.

If you want to put them down to a series of unfortunate individual circumstances and dismiss the pattern, if that helps you to deflect potential blame, then fine. But it is a pattern. Players dont sign new deals here.

But the fact is that the only player we have got to a sign a new deal in a long long time is Ribeiro, who signed a weird short term contract which was then brought in line.

I've just gave you 3 perfect examples that's prove your point is wrong but you ignore it, So I leave it there cos I'm not going 15 rounds forward and backward over this again.ย
