Β Hopefully, might mean we could get Miyoshi in finally, I can't bear watching Hedges on wing again. Though knowing us, we'll have just told him to bugger off like we did to Siggy; regardless of player it's a scummy way to operate, especially for a younger guy like Mafoumbi who seemed so excited to join last summer. He shouldn't be considered for the 1st team, unless every striker gets injured. I heard last week, Harry Leonard was in the under 21s, he'd be a better option than Gueye. It's bonkers how differently people see the game. 1 Quote
ObiWhan8t7 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Would say Baradgi over Miyoshi. Link was about 4 weeks ago and if anything was close they wouldnβt of used him and waste that ESC statusΒ Quote

What would be the actual point of signing him? Perhaps the idea of keeping him on tablets and arranging the opp till the very back end of this season. God knows but we need a CM and RW in through asap, both would be great.Β 1 Quote
DutchRover Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) One interesting thing about our squad construction is the contrast between the athletic profiles with no football brain and the football brains who have to try make it work. Cantwell is obviously a talented player but easily frustrated by those around him who can't play on same wavelength and make right run, or who screw up after he's made a play. Off Bradford game Tavares has that as well (yeah I know one game against L2/1 opp), and I think Ohashi too. We need a few more of that profile of player to make it work properly. Tyjon might be that in future; Henriksson maybe once he adapts, but adding Miyoshi would be a big addition I think to help link play, and still have Miller/Alebiosu bombing outside with athleticism. Shame the left side is a workman in Yuri/Pick and a Hedges like De Neve or Kargbo's pace without product. Edited 3 hours ago by DutchRover 2 Quote
alexanders Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I was thinking yesterday that Henriksson would be a great fit with Cantwell. Brain wise he had some neat passing and moves.Β 4 Quote
MarkBRFC Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Baradji is such a waste of a spot with his injury status that it will definitely be him coming in if Mafoumbi is off as predicted. 1 Quote
islander200 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago I like Miyoshi as a player but the attack need some pace drive and goals so I'd rather a player with those attributes brought in rather than him. Baradji looks like he could have something but the fact he may need an operation and the fact he would be another with no experience of English football I'd be walking away from that and looking for a domestic replacement for Travis even if only a loan. It's ridiculous that we are into the season and 3 of our strongest 11 Travis ,Hyam and Tronstad could still all leave by deadlineΒ At the moment I'd be playing 3 at the back with wing backs as we have no quality out wide in the 3 behind the loan striker. 2 Quote
roversfan99 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago We shouldnt be loaning a replacement for Travis. Nor obviously should we sign someone injured. Use a couple of loans to add additional attacking power on top of buying a right winger and any direct replacements for outgoings. 1 Quote
