Am I the only one who couldn't care less that questions were limited today. I actually agree with the club on this one that the focus should be on the game tomorrow and the questions about Trav and others can wait until after the game.

We all know the situation with Travis anyway and the other out of contract players. VI only gave an update 3 days ago! And quite frankly those questions are boring for everyone at this point.

The club is broken, we all know that, but we have much bigger problems than questions about Travis being banned for one press conference.

I want anything that makes the chancers running this club to be asked questions in public. We are treading water (at best), it's not up to fans to justify the crazy world of football ownershipΒ  but I'm confident enough people would fancy having a crack at this gig.

I’m fuming because they have the fucking bare face cheek to say in public that they β€œremain committed” to open communication, when every fan groups attending agree that try to communicate with them is saying it’s bullshit.Β
Β

We’ve got a first team coach / former interim head coach, who the the current head coach says has left. But the board cant confirm. β€œOpen communication”.

I can’t understand how people can’t see the problem here by looking outside the manufactured Travis β€˜smokescreen’.Β

Bizarre, overly defensive statement with the maturity of a toddler throwing a tantrum.

Thanks Suhail.

Yeah this is it 100% - the constant statements these days just shows how out of touch they are and how bad they are at their jobs.Β
The one about Eustace just before he left was a classic - like you say they all read like a 6 year old having a tantrumΒ

It should be nothing but a full boycott now - or at least a statement like Sheffield Wednesday the other day when they stayed in the turnstilesΒ

I agree with this. Focus on the players that are there and want to play, not the other ongoings.Β
Β

all clubs have these issues, look at Newcastle with Isak or even Liverpool with Trent.Β

a full boycott is a greatΒ  of protesting, but it`s totally unrealistic, sadly, you can`t expect everyone to suddenly stop going to matches,it will never happen

i suspect the protests will mushroom this season if as expected we keep losing every week, whatever shape they take we just don`t know but there is nobody more cantankerous than a football fan who sees his team at the bottom of the league and losing every week

Aye yeah, Liverpool have had a right stinker there bringing in two quality full backs in Frimpong and Kerkez

It’s just drip feed boycott currently though. They’ll be almost as many away fans as home fans tomorrow.

It feels like it’s bubbling up a bit at the moment, though Travis is hardly elite, it’s the statement of your captain wanting out, and relentless club statements making us look amateurΒ

According to Nixon Rovers have let Mafoumbi go to make space for a new signing.

Feel for Mafoumbi...was probably never going to make it but the club have absolutely wasted his time. Hope he gets himself a club very quickly.

So who's it going to be...Baradji or unnamed right winger?

Very weird signing, up there with the Fabio Nunes and Edinho Jr’s of the world.

Makes you thinkβ€¦πŸ€”

Baradji, as he will be injured and won't play until Jan.

Oh well they will say.

Yeah, not sure why we'd sign this guy if he's out for 2/3months. Crazy decision.

The fact we have fans defending the current situation shows you that a full boycott just ain't ever going to happen with this fanbase.

Bizarre we can't all Unite.

Hearing reports we signed Baradji and Suhail was left to do the paperwork and cocked up writing his name as 'Balaji' and he will have to be re register in Jan...Β

Probably isn't fit before January anway πŸ˜‰

Stop twisting my words. What about Bournemouth then, lost Huijsen, Kerkez and Zabarniy?Β
Brentford lost their Talisman Mbeumo to a team lower on the table.Β
wolves have lost their talisman each season, Raul, Neves, Jota, CunhaΒ

The difference is these teams have notoriously replaced with upgrades or got a shit load of money (Mbuemo / Cunha).

We’re unique in that we either run contracts down and let players leave on a free, or sell for well under true value - then we replace them with some 4th division Germans or 2nd division Belgian lads who would struggle to make Chorleys 11.Β

Losing players to high calibre teams is one thingΒ

a manager leaving a team in 6th to the relegation zone and now their captain going to a team who finished way below us is the issueΒ

United and spurs both had freak off seasons regarding league position but they are still and in uniteds case one of the biggest clubs in the world so it’s not the sameΒ

The margins between being a success or a failure are extremely tight.Β
Β

heard a story today about a player (x) who had a gentlemen’s agreement with a PL club, then when x flew over to sign he had a phone call from his friend who played for Rovers who wanted him to sign for us. X met our manager at the time and really wanted to sign for rovers, but stayed loyal to the gentlemen’s agreement.Β
Β

X made a huge mistake in his PL debut. The manager never spoke to him again and he never got to fullfill his potential.Β
Β

It could have beeen completely different if he hadn’t made that mistake or signed for RoversΒ
