Mattyblue Posted 17 hours ago Posted 17 hours ago Category A then … for the mighty Birmingham. Obviously they expect them to fetch plenty so it’s priced as that, feck trying to attract a good home turnout for the opening Ewood fixture. 3 Quote

Wheelton Blue Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago Since when have Birmingham City been more than a Cat C? It's obvious what the tactic is here. Fleece the expected large away following, but sod trying to attract any home support. They are not fit for purpose. 3 Quote

We could always let them wear their home strip as well to make them feel even more at home, whilst we wear one of our alternate strips in the hope of flogging a few more of those. Tomphil2 Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago They've also brought in premium pricing in the centre section of the DE i think, maybe just the upper tier. Now that's something i kind of agree with, if you can fleece a huge away support then fair enough but if you're doing it on the back of fleecing the few home fans as well then it's pathetic. Unless they come up with a ticket deal in the opposite end to cover charging big for single tickets in the DE then it'll fall flat on its face. Are they now actively trying to kill off the BBE ? Mattyblue Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago (edited) Up to £35 to £37 (or £38 to £40 if you actually had the temerity of buying it from the ticket office) for a second division game, against Birmingham. Edited 2 hours ago by Mattyblue Quote
Rogerb Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago £32 for a senior in the Blackburn end if you pay on the day Quote
Mattyblue Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Not sure it's just pay on the day now, if you are an older fan that wanted to buy one in the ticket office at any time you'd be charged a premium to do so. 1 Quote
StHelensRover Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago All very well fleecing travelling Birmingham fans who will obviously bring a large crowd having the promotion bounce. Problem is that Rovers will probably get charged a reciprocal price for the reverse fixture. I won't be paying £33+ to go to St Andrews, many others won't either. Meaning we'll be backed by about 400 die hards for a fixture only 2hrs away from home. Coz that's what football is all about, rinsing travelling fans 👌 1 Quote
Tomphil2 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Virtually guaranteed 10/11k home turnouts now for a few games at least. Seems to be what these lot want though. Quote
SIMON GARNERS 194 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Birmingham City..the original BIG CLUB™ (but won fook all!) Quote
JHRover Posted 20 minutes ago Author Posted 20 minutes ago The club's focus and priority comes into clear view with this latest act All the focus and concern at decision making level is around the opposition and more importantly how much cash can be extracted from their fans. The impact on Rovers and Rovers fans and absolute irrelevance, £35 a time in the away end so the same behind the goals in the BBE. Like it or lump it. No discount scheme or members prices either which many others offer to give home fans reduced rates whilst still getting the away support cash What next. Wrexham possibly Category A* for the tourists. Just ridiculous and an opportunity for a decent home crowd first game of the season wasted. They'll be happy though because they can profit from Birmingham's promotion and feel good factor 2 Quote

Pay a £30 yearly fee or whatever and get x amount off each ticket you buy over the season, can charge the away fans what they want then. As we have known long before now, nobody is interested in growing the fanbase here. We're a huge inconvenience to them. Quote
