If you are under 31 you've never seen Rovers win at Bramall Lane.

15th January 1994 the last time Rovers won in South Sheffield.

As of 15/1/94

UK Number 1 Song - "Twist and Shout" by Chaka Demus & Pliers feat. Jack Radics & Taxi Gang

Number 1 Film - Tombstone with Kurt Russell and Val Kilmer (RIP)

Prime Minister - John Major

Pint of Beer - £1.58

Pint of Milk - 36p

Newspaper price - 50p for The Guardian

US President - Bill Clinton

World Record transfer fee for a footballer - Gianluigi Lentini - £13m Torino to AC Milan

Lentini is a blast from the past! Used to love watching Football Italia on Ch4 with that Richardson chap, sat in various cafes with his cappuccino’s and Gazzetta Della Sport. what a job!

IIRC Lentini was in a car crash and was out for quite a while.

Took me far too long to realise it was 'Golazo' and not 'Goal Lazio!' 😅.

Honestly, I feel sick with nerves for this game. I don't know how I'd cope with the anticipation of a play-off match!!

I still sense this is a scenario I won't have to be concerned about but, you never know...

Our friend ... seems fo be getting particularly worked up about this fixture - I really hope the team put in a performance for those in attendance tomorrow. At the start of the week I was quite excited about it but the nearer we get to the match the more my gut is telling me to expect the soggiest of damp squibs and that we wont turn up, or at least not until results elsewhere make our own result irrelevant.

For those who think like me and want to help drown their sorrows a Bristol City/ Burnley/Coventry/Sheffield United acca pays about 12/1.

For those who want to crack open the champagne to celebrate being half way there, a Bristol City/Burnley/ Middlesbrough/ Rovers acca pays about 26/1. The draw in the Coventry game makes it about 31/1.

Ill be putting a fiver on each.

Not getting worked up, just looking forward to it. I think we have as good a chance as any. Stranger things have happened and bigger shocks have happened also.

I have a feeling we’ll get the result we need but so will the others.

Come on you Blues!

It's all we can ask of them, throw the kitchen sink at them and come out on top. If other results go our way then Que Sera Sera....

COME ON ROVERS!!! 🔵🌹

Don't leave anything on the pitch.

Preston are absolutely piss; and imo will go down tomorrow so we can discount them. Burnley will want to break the clean sheet record and also win the title so wouldn’t expect millwall to get anything there either.

So for my money it’s all on us and that Coventry game. A win and Coventry fail to win and we’ve somehow made it. Can’t see it personally, but let’s see! If only we’d had a shot on goal vs Stoke, Derby and Cardiff 👀

I don't expect anything tomorrow other than them leave everything on that pitch which to be fair most of them have for most of this season.  We are up against a very good side who have zero pressure on them at home in front of a full house so we need to be realistic and accept everything is against us it's a long shot.

Whatever will be will be it's been a big over achievement this season to the backdrop of the usual nonsense associated with this club now under this ownership.

Team have done great but been let down again by not having enough to call on when they are flat out so hopefully there's enough left for one big last push.

If there's anything more sure than that we were going to start winning games again once there didn't look like there'd be anything left to play for, it's that we won't land in 6th place and be left kicking ourselves about every botched result against shit teams.

Either we win and results don't go our way, or results go our way and we don't win.

Not trying to be negative, just seen this script too many times.

I suspect we're going to get absolutely battered.

All we can do is just win and lets other results taking their own course.

my team for this game is

                 Toth

Brittain Hyam Batth Ribeiro

          Travis  Tronstad

Dolan      Cantwell     Karbgo

                Ohashi

Come On You Blues 🔵

Why would you change a winning formula? Pears has been supplanted IMO, and Kargbo hasn't had enough time to be other than an impact option from the bench. Start with a consistent approach. Build on that.

Never change a winning team unless you have to.

I didn't mean to put Pears in, Toth has been very good since coming in and done well.

I think Karbgo with his pace would give us the extra factor and in behind threat

well that your choice but I think bringing Karbgo would actually give us something extra and pace in behind to give us extra threat

Pretty sure we had a few against stoke!
