There probably is, but he either won't apply for our job, or we won't interview him, we'll go with someone even cheaper and worse than VI, probably give them a 4 year deal.

As we've discovered with JDT and Eustace, they clearly won't appoint someone who questions their ineptitude.

Just like the owners won't employ a CEO, director of football and whatever Suhail is who will question theirs.

It's just yes men employing yes men.

Ismael’s win percentage drops to 27.27%

His loss percentage must be up there with the very worst though!

As I've always said - the modern day Jim Iley although sadly I doubt he'll be sacked in double quick time.

Don't disagree with anything you say but at least Gueye has had some good games under a different Head Coach.

Based on what I've seen so far I doubt Merlin the Magician could get a tune out of Gudjohnssen.

Had one good game.

Serious question, if/when we don’t get any points in the next 2 at home. Will this manager get the sack? There’s gotta be someone out of work that can make us harder to beat.

No he won't because they'll have to pay him off 2 years and that will cancel any future paltry transfer pot we might have.

They've allowed us to be stitched up good style again here by shadowman and Gestede employing this proven failure.

What's his loss percentage?

He's lost 11 out of 21 in the League I think whatever percentage that equates to.

(Plus Bradford in the Cup)

Coventry spent money and gave their best players new contracts, Coventry didn't bring in £50 million in sales.

They sold Gyokeres for an initial £20M ish, they then got add ons and a sell on, Hamer was about £15M, Sheaf to Wrexham was also £6M or £7M

The difference is that Coventry reinvested the money, spent about £20M last season, over £30M the season before, given how transfer income and expenditure is recorded in the accounts/FFP/etc, it's easy to do this and remain compliant

Frustrating that venkys won’t care

hes on a long term contract that will get renewed when we are relegated as they see him as the long term coach to keep us “ sustainable “
More sad times ahead

Much more likely that they will not even be aware of how Rovers/Ismael are going, let alone care

Yes, and our hope for survival is steadily diminishing as we have lost more games than we have won and drawn combined.

Grime times.

We lack quality and when your best players go off replaced by lads that lack even more, its difficult to see where the goals are going to come from.

Unfortunately due to bad club management we've go risky/new/unknown players thrown into championship football with "survival" being the aim. So at this stage, management thinking will remain the same & I can't see they'll sack Ismael.

You can get used to losing and we look like a team that is becoming used to losing I’m afraid. I’ve seen Rovers get relegated several times and “ We played well but it just didn’t go for us “  ran through each of those relegations.

Yep, couldn’t agree more with that summary. Absolutely desperate for a win midweek or Saturday but I am struggling to see where the goals are going to come from. Yuki has the one deflection at Hull and Gudjonson is now a few games in without hitting the net and in my experience, any decent striker usually scores on debut or very soon thereafter. If not, confidence dips and deserts them and always seems to end badly and so the lack of goals from strikers is a real worry.

Just look at the subs at 2 nil down away at a team like that, 3 average at best lads off and 3 who are at a league several levels above their ability on.

Never ever going to turn games around anywhere with that kind of squad.

Yep, slightly unsighted but people would have been calling Pears up hill and down dale if he'd let one in straight under his body like that.

Think we may see AP in goal in the near future - would reinforce the ”unlucky” narrative by putting large portion of the blame on BT.

Also - how can so many of our subs fail to understand offside. Truly frightening

We are being hung out to dry by our ownership, happily aided by Pasha and Gestede. Running a team in the Championship costs money, a ridiculous amount of money, hell even a WASTE of money but people are willing to do it. It makes no sense but it's not our job as fans to justify it.

Venkys, just put the club up for sale and dissappear. I know for a fact the two names above wouldn't last a day under new ownership.

Tbf us "playing well" this season just means us being somewhat competitive. Standards are, understandably, through the floor.

We'll see Pears back in soon enough once they've flogged Toth.

Then we'll see goals let in like that again on a regular basis again.
