Not in the least bit sad to see gueye go, I thought he looked like a footballer on his debut right up to the point he tried to strike the ball, he couldn’t shoot. Got the odd goal with his head but he wasn’t particularly good with that either

that is so depressing, could have been competition for both wing back spots, and also on the wing should we switch back to a 4 man defence

seems a very good price too

Yeah

Surprised a championship club hasn't taken him at that price, he was out of contract at the end of the season I think

Hasn’t stood out of did anything of note in league one which likely is the reason why

Just seen Jordan Slew is still playing professional football, maybe we could tempt him back

Despite having no back up, I'm overjoyed to not have to see this clown in our strip again.

The anti-forward. The defenders best mate. The jester.

See ya.

We need someone in the Gueye mould in terms of his physical presence (albeit he was useless with it). The big Charlton striker the other week won literally everything hit up to him and would walk into our team.

Yep, Carl Leaburn’s lad, his name was mentioned a number of times on here over the last couple of years as being the sort we needed who could have been plucked from League 1 at a small investment price. As always, missed the boat !

I posted about Max Dean as an overseas English option playing in Belgium a few weeks ago, didn't necessarily want us to actually go after him.

Probably where to rumour came from tbh, I'm deffo not an itk, just a Football Manager player lol.

Young so should develop; good last year, but poor this year; English but plays in Rudy's favourite league.

Pretty sure this lad was mentioned in the summer or in a previous window, definitely been linked before.

He looks off side.

He's just on his way back onside now via Singapore.

That's what it felt like watching him float offside

Born offside.

'Money in the kitty'

We just can't spend it because no player is going to agree to join a sinking ship where we are offering wages more in keeping with a League One/Two club than an established Championship one.

So all the Venky bingo boxes ticked - money available, nothing wrong with the owners, ready and willing to spend, targets being worked on, don't blame us blame the greedy players and agents

End result we've all seen before. Excuses and issues, not enough to show for it.

You do the math guys, there is budget.

I’ve done the math Rudy, there should be plenty. The fans just aren’t seeing any of it.

Certainly not at a competitive Championship level.

At the moment unless decent money is spent before the end of the window it's looking like the transfer budget for this season is/was minus £2m.

(The net position in summer)

Bearing in mind we've only bought in a nil cost loan so far and seemingly had to shift Gueye before seeing any movement on the striker front.

Sadly we can't even buy league one players ... Bali Mumba would had been an steady signing but that's the depressing reality we have to face with the club in complete dog shit.

Everyone at Blackburn Rovers thanks Pape for his efforts and the memorable moments he provided during his time at the club

They are trolling at this point.
