Has anyone been able to confirm the update on Andri?

This was 9th January.

Initially they said hamstring injury and out for a month. Even if there was a setback with that injury, then why now would that mean out for season? Surely something new.

I would say playing Kargbo for two games when he had a muscle tear, Cantwell being out for over two months with what was initially described as a "kick on the knee" and Gudjohnssen being potentially ruled out for the season shortly after returning to training and being initially diagnosed as out for 2 weeks are all highly irregular.

If they are being misdiagnosed then that would be down to the medical department so again il refer to the initial post I responded to 

Medical advice could also be being ignored I suppose 

All I was saying Is injuries and a lot of them happen every season here

Yeah, in a week's time (if the presser is correct) we'll only have 5 of the "13" out so no excuses whatsoever.

Well "officials" etc but not on injuries anyway.

Just a further thought on Gudjohnsen.

Ismael has been hammering on about how many injured and how desperate we are to get players back - won't have gone unnoticed in football circles.

If a key player suffers a longer term injury just a week or so before the window closes and you need to replace, you wouldn't want the football world to know as asking prices for potential replacements would rocket.

Think we should know soon if Rovers playing 'a straight bat'.

Thank god the rumour was false as that would have been yet another nail in the coffin.

It does feel like a case of self preservation rushing everyone back.

Ismael also mentioned "hopefully" having a striker by next week and a total of 8 bodies on top of what we had midweek.

Surely we arent thick enough to not bother with a left wing back.
