It's a good job the game is at Ewood then.

No you're wrong. Ewood is the worst of all venues for us--check this season's results!!

He has picked up plenty of muscle injuries in the last few years. Its massive issue and I dont know how we can sort them

It would help if we had a half decent Sports Science department!!!

VI needs to work out some way of adding steel and resolve to our home performances, or risk further damage to our already dwindling support.

I mean, what is so wrong about battling relentlessly and with passion for 90 minutes and against the odds wherever we are playing? There is something deeply concerning about a set up that can garner the kind of hard-nosed commitment we have seen repeatedly on the road, but which meekly accepts powder-puff performance in front of home fans, and it is up to the manager (coach) to iron out whatever psychological bumps are preventing equal measures of resolve and persistence at Ewood.

On to the game. QPR are only 3 points ahead of us so this is a true 6 pointer. Their record this season is not dissimilar to our own, albeit they have scored more and conceded more than us. It is a club I've long held disdain for, ever since their plastic pitch in the 1980s gave an obvious and unfair advantage - an experiment that always seemed to work against the hard-grafting Rovers visiting Loftus Road. Having said that, we have enjoyed decent returns there in recent years..on and off. The Gerry Francis cast off club don't like travelling Norff, so perhaps there is a glimmer and shimmer about Wednesday's game under the Ewood floodlights...There won't be hordes from West London, that's for sure.

On paper it is a nailed on draw. On form it is anybody's game. On reflection there will be a sparse collection of eyes on the game from the seating and terracing of Olde Ewoode Parke.. Football is of course a game of confidence and form, chance and chances, right place right time and right mess right now. It isn't clear what will be served on Wednesday, but I do hope it isn't another dollop of dosy downcast demeanour from the brave boys in blue and white.

Hiding to nothing, Rovers 0 Sweaty Hoops 0

Hating the Home Form Rovers 0 Hula Hoops 2

Hooray for the faithful Rovers 2 Betty Boops 0

COY miserable home form Blues!

Oh, and VENKYS OUT!

As soon as we go into a game with a wave of optimism, we usually get beat. Normally against a team, at home, who aren't doing all that great in the league.

This is a 100% winnable game but you know what Rovers are like.

Heart says 2-0 win

Head says 0-2 loss

Two weeks he’s out but 4 games he’s missing it’s a lot. Just as soon as we’re finding the rhythm, it gets halted again and again. Cantwell this game is too soon for him. Tgh is back but this game i would play forshaw and tgh to allow tgh a bit of freedom. He can’t play in that number 6 role as we seen again derby.

Trondstad got an nasty tackle in the game against Preston, then we scored. Now hes missing four games.

I would play same team as against Preston but put TGH in for Trondstad.

That means we will rely on Pratt and Kirsti one again but with Elias Chair running we need a runner in Kirsti to take him on. Dont think Forshaw is the right answer there but I may be wrong.

Bad news missing Tronstad, fundamental to the team and has looked like his old self lately.

It might mean Baradji is thrown in more quickly than planned 😬

No chance. We have forshaw and Montgomery plus Gardner Hickman has returned from suspension. Moussa will be eased in. No rush.

Has the experience which I would prefer. Lewis miller can possibly hold chair with his physicality perhaps. Let’s see what happens

Could it be Todd back in the team tomorrow. You never know. Val saying he has made progress and not ruled him out.

Official website:

Elsewhere, Moussa Baradji is available for selection once again, despite the sickening challenge from Ben Whiteman late on in the win against North End, but Todd Cantwell, Augustus Kargbo, Scott Wharton, Balazs Toth and Hayden Carter all remain out of action.”

Another week, another kick in the balls on the selection front. It looks to pull the squad together but we will run out of players soon at this rate.

TBH, with our medical department's track record on diagnosis and prognosis, I would be surprised to see Tronstad back before 2026!!!

Has been progressing since his kick on the knee !!!

Wouldn't wager a penny on him wearing the blue and white shirt again.

Said on the Preston thread post game Tronstad hobbled off with the physio at his side so I was expecting this news. 1 step forward, 4 back again, he’s a huge miss, just like Toth was and Wharton. Carter I don’t even factor in as he’s injured more than he’s available by some distance.

I just watched this and as soon as he started speaking my wife sighed and then said "I absolutely hate that guys voice"

😂😂

Who knew? Not me, that's for sure.
