I imagine that De Neve is in because he offers pace on the break & Ribeiro offers very little as a wing back

Given De Neve starts, Ribeiro makes more sense than Pratt to cover for De Neves lack of positional awareness down our left

TGH is average at best, runs around a lot but no positional sense, hopefully Cantwell & Morishita can provide some creativity in midfield

Can only think Tavares is in because Ismael thinks he has more discipline than TGH as the deepest of the 3 midfielders (also possible TGH still carrying a knock after the tackle at the end of the first half the other night)

Gardner-Hickman is a much better player than Tavares. I have to assume he's injured.

Don't forget our injuries, and threadbare squad. Let's not get to above ourselves, keep our feet on the ground, and pick up points.

I dont think our injuries are our biggest hindrance. Team selection and subs are often bizarre and do more harm than good. Same again with starting line up today. De Neve and Tavares shouldn't be anywhere near the line up, injuries or not.

Trondstad should start, the same with Pratt and Baradji...poor starting eleven...manager got it massively wrong again. Lose today and he has to go.

He's on the bench.

Is TGH a defensive midfielder? BTW not signing Tavares is either

Are either Tronstad or Baradji ready to start?

No chance he gets sacked.

Imagine Tronstad isn't quite fit enough to start, and who knows with Baradji.

deneve will leave ribeiro exposed,he`s got no defensive capability at all and sidnei is`nt very good,at least cantwell is back

De Neve and Sidnei  should not be anywhere near the squad let alone playing !

Absolutely useless the pair of them !

What in the fuckity fuck is going on with that midfield pairing? How are Tronstad and TGH on the bench but we have decided the team doesn't need a spine today?

Tronstad probably not start after injury? Just a thought?

Then TGH should. If neither is fit enough for a full 90 surely they should play a half each. We are going to be wide open in the middle.

What the f* is that central midfield? Gonna win exactly zero balls back and will be completely overrun during transition moments. Better hope we get the first goal or this will end badly...

Looks like Ismael wants all out attack for the first half and hopes we don’t have much defending to do. If we do we’re in trouble with that midfield.

Could be very successful or wildly catastrophic, will be interesting at least.

As bizarre lineups go that’s up there. A defensively suspect LWB at LCB, the worst DM in recent history playing when we have others available who can fulfil that role with much more quality. Baffling. The midfield 3 of Cantwell, Tavares and Morishita is unbelievably lightweight. I like Morishita and Cantwell has been much better when he’s played but from a defensive point of view a decent opposition midfielder would be licking their lips.

If Ismael thinks Tavares is disciplined in any sense of the word, he should look for a different career.

Question for those watching via Rovers website

Is it just me who when clicking "watch live" on the site, it just refreshes the screen?

Was about to ask the same - worryingly it says ”no matches scheduled for live streaming” on the TV page
