Dangerous Charlton counter, your options are clean him out and take the card, or use his superior pace to get in front of him and tackle him properly. Instead he had two or three half assed attempts to tackle and kept having to overtake him again after them.

Not sure whether us or Charlton should be more concerned by that result. We continue our streak of failing to beat any of the teams in a relegation scrap with us, but if they can't beat the team we had out there today - being two goals ahead - then they've got massive problems of their own. 

Oh well. Onto the next disappointment.

With the state of our current squad and being 2 down I would definitely have bitten your hand off for a point, win our game v sheff wed and we would have a bit of a gap although not comfortable on the bottom 3. I feel if we can keep ahead of Oxford, pompy and Charlton we will be fine. Norwich will climb out

He's walked over to them at full time to remonstrate, ignoring the fact he keeps setting the team up so.we go in at half time, behind.

Got away with one there. Two dreadful teams. Norwich lost so we actually end the day further away from the bottom 3 somehow.

At least we'll have done the majority of our transfer business by the cup game and have a bolstered squad, right?

In isolation it feels an ok result after being 2 down but in the general scheme of things another home game we've failed to win against relegation rivals.

A draw is not enough from another must win home game. Coming back from 2 nil down only papers over the cracks.

We need to get ahead of Charlton first to keep ahead of them. This was the chance, spurned.
