When I said fat slugs, Dave, I wasn't referring to any of the half timers.?
-
And instead of their lips being kissable, they look like two fat slugs. Who would want to kiss two fat slugs?

Surely all players will have to take a dramatic reduction in wages. Otherwise if most EFL clubs go out of business there will be no-one to employ them. It needs the EFL to bring in a maximum wage immediately. EFL?......??

Good Heavens! Is that a true photo of Olivia Attwood? She looks terrible. She looks like a character from "Thunderbirds". That skin! Those eyebrows.....? Botox lips.......Yuk!! Unbeknown to herself she has made herself look ugly. If only she were more natural she'd be far more appealing.

I'll repeat my prediction of many weeks ago. Fulham will win the play-offs.

He'll probably be snapped up by Barnsley whose manager will be very aware of him.

I don't like the red trim on the sleeves of the home kit. Why the black trim on the red sleeve of the away kit but not a red trim on the black sleeve? No trims please. Singing "yellow, yellow" was started by nob enders. It's not for me. Otherwise, these two are beautiful kits; collars an' all.

Is this the nostalgia thread?

I think if you look elsewhere on the brfcs website for the "best ever Rovers 11" you'll find those three players in it. Duff is the best left winger I've ever seen playing for Rovers and I've seen, from Jackie Wharton onwards, an ageing Bobby Langton, McLeod, Harrison, Wagstaffe, Sellars, Wilcox and MGP. I read that Ranieri's wife's favourite player was Duff. I worked in Bolton and my trotters-supporting friends told me they were scared stiff of only one Rovers player........Duff.

I've noticed on TV quiz shows when much younger people are asked questions on religious matters, particularly the old and new testaments, and British history they know nothing. The easiest of well known facts in these subjects are met with a blank stare. I wonder why.

It's all been said but two things made me so mad tonight. 1. ifollow kept breaking off in the 2nd half. I missed the foul that gave the penalty. 2. Bloody Nyambe!! every time he gets into the opposition half he becomes a statue. The lad is going backwards. Pearson in!!

We are pathetic. Tippy happy fanny flicking football

Who is Eastham? I thought it was between Hilton and Fisher.

Only Connect. I love it but usually cannot get a blooming thing. The wall is my favourite. I record the programme so I can pause it at the wall and give myself a longer time to study it. Makes no difference in the end.

I get the 99 but cannot get the last 3 numbers. Ah. Just read your explanation. Very clever.

b 326. Do you want the workings out?
-
Never heard of BODMAS. I wondered why people kept mentioning it. I was never taught this in school. I left high school in 1961. Therefore I stand corrected. You learn something new every day. I'm still learning.??

Aka Derek Fazackerley?

No way. 9+9x36=648 It did when I was at school. No brackets there!!! If you want the answer to be 333 then you have to express it as 9 +( 9 x 36). There are no brackets in the original puzzle. So the doctor's wrong. No matter. I don't expect my GP to be a brilliant mathematician. I expect him/her to be a brilliant doctor.

Red cards are ten a penny in this modern game of stupid interpretation of the laws of the game. They mean nothing. And neither do yellow cards. You only have to go back (crickey) 27 years (???) to watch Rovers 7 Norwich 1 and watch the tackles that went flying in and no-one batting and eyelid. The laws have been tweaked far too much. This thing about if the ref gets in the way is ludicrous............but I digress.
-
Why not? That really is a stupid statement. If your hatred of "Dingles" is that bad, perhaps you hated Keith Newton, Kevin Hird and Mark Patterson who left us to play for them. More to the point John Connelly and Adam Blacklaw were "ex-dingles" who played brilliantly for us. I wish we had a keeper as good as Blacklaw was then. I'll endorse others views. I'd have Dyche ( or Paul Cooke for that matter) in a flash.

I think Raya wanted to leave. Whether he was tapped up or not we don't know. Perhaps he decided that his career prospects were better at a small London club whose structure was sound and had ambition a-plenty. If a player wants to leave us we have to let him go and get the best deal we can for him. Can't expect someone who doesn't want to be here to put his heart and soul into playing for us.
-
Are you a Burnley fan in disguise?
-
Well done Tony Mowbray. We wanted to see the youngsters and he let us see some. I was delighted to see how well we were playing towards the end. Glad to see Chapman has improved since I last saw him. The youngsters seemed to enjoy playing together and gave us a glimpse of what we can expect next season. Jack Vale looks good. Bring 'em on Tony. the future is bright with these lads.

So it's all in Brentford's hands. Win their last two games and they're up automatically. Regardless of what happens, I predict Fulham to win the play-offs.
