  1. Oh god ya, that was amateur wasn't it? His suit didn't even fit properly. I don't think the show did Grayson any favours. Struck me as a guy who had a one off hit at Preston. Not far off coyle at Burnley. His methods and he himself came accross as amateur in the extreme.
  2. Wasn't there talk of "personal issues" just after he got around the first team last year? I don't know what they were, nor should anyone say what they were on here, but they seem to have derailed him.
  3. So 6 episodes in and I have figured out how and why a camera crew was allowed in to film the car crash. The chairman is an ego maniac. David Brent is a lazy comparison, but anyone who hasn't watched the show needs to watch it and check this guy out. Does anyone with more knowledge on the club than me know how this guy ended up in the role? Did he win a competition? If any of you remember the classic show Dream team, well this guy would fit in perfectly on it. He is an absolute charlatan. Honestly though, the entire club comes across as so amateur. For a multi million pound business it's baffling. God almighty I dread to think what the cameras would have seen here circa 2009-2014
  4. He started the last game or the one before it. I remember seeing it on Twitter
  5. Depends on when they left I suppose. I have no doubt if they left the second we got relegated from the Premier league, the new owners would have come in and sacked Kean. The squad we had under Mick McCarthy(who was available at the time) or pretty much anyone decent ,would have been there or thereabouts near the top. The longer they stayed here, the more dependent on them we became. Culminating in the shambolic season (before Mowbray) where we went down to League 1. After all they have done PM (pre-Mowbray) , if they attempted to sell the training ground there would be a mass boycott and protests. It would be the final straw for those on the fence I would think.
  6. I would have to keep off here for a start ?
  7. Finances aren't really anything for us to worry about while Venkys are footing the bill. They have gotten themselves into such a financial hole here, that they either get out of it via promotion or take the hit on everything put in so far along with the debt. No one will take that debt on. They are prisoners of their own shoddy ownership
  8. He scored a few for us in League 1 though. However, I agree he didn't look the finished article at all. When it comes to strikers in particular, I would disregard previous form. When they start scoring, you need to get them in the side. The thing is both he and Brereton perhaps will never be able to do what Graham does and maybe we should stop expecting that. Of course we would need to cut out the direct balls up there then and play to their other strengths. Graham is a Championship master on getting the better of defenders whether they are bigger or faster than him. Can you teach that? I don't think you can personally. If you could, every striker would be doing it.
  9. Their mess, all they are doing is paying for it. Ya, they could have decided not to pay it and let us go bust, or whatever, but if they had have done that a few years ago. We could actually be in a better position now. Anyways, luckily we have Mowbray at the helm now.
  10. You are probably right, but I find it disappointing that he won't. He can do no more than what he is currently. He has been at the club over a year, has played for the first team. Now is freely scoring at the highest level of Under 23s football. He is 21 years of age, so older than Brereton. I am pretty sure he is almost as tall and I would say more well built, so could fill , or attempt to at least, the Graham role. If he doesn't get into the first team squad over Xmas, I will be disappointed.
  11. No doubt, nobody said it wasn't. I was just interested how long he covered the wages for. A week would make him a really nice and generous guy. A year would make him a saint!
  12. I don't see why they couldn't be swapped for a game or two. If Brereton played with the under 23s and got himself a goal or two, he would be in much better shape coming off the bench for Graham. I understand Mowbray using him sparingly, but if he only gets 10, 20 minutes here and there for the next while and never scores, then , even though he isn't starting, we are in "goal drought" territory. Nuttall deserves to be Grahams back up. He is banging them in. What more can he do?
  13. Churlish? It was a question I asked as I was interested. Big difference between paying for a day or a year I don't see your issue with the question
  14. Matter to who? Whats the problem with asking?
  15. I have seen next to nothing, but he starts for the under 23s every week. So someone must rate him.
  16. I totally agree. How he has used the youth players is bad. The only time Travis has gotten on that I remember this season as as a makeshift center half for a few minutes. So as it stands Travis, who is a great talent from what I have seen, is getting game time nowhere. It is ridiculous. His energy would definitely help instead of a fatigued Smallwood when we are defending a lead.
  17. Well I wouldn't recommend anyone who wins 100 million in the euro millions to buy a club. You need billions
  18. Would I be correct in saying those lads are in their 20s now? I have seen them mentioned in under aged teams for years. Simmonds is a winger, so I would liked to have seen him get some game time a the end of games.
  19. He has had 2 separate ones. it's unfortunate because he had a good run last season ,injury free
  20. Well if it is a tactic, he needs to execute it better!
  21. I can't see how anyone would know to be fair
  22. Nuttall needs to be ahead of Brereton at this point, no?
  23. Well it would have been grand if they hadn't have made a mess initially and got us relegated. They could have tipped away putting nothing of their own money in if they had just kept Allardyce and given him some of the TV money to spend. If I remember correctly they bough the club for around £25 million. They could have sold the club for 3 times that if they had have managed things properly for 2-3 seasons after taking over. Wigan just sold for around the same, after being promoted from League 1.
  24. No, but I read the following players are out of contract in the summer Charley Doyle, Jack Doyle, Tyler Magloire, Lewis Hardcastle, Willem Tomlinson, Stefan Mols, Okera Simmonds and Lewis Mansell.
