  1. I think they are. along with Graham we will have Dack and Armstrong arriving into the box. We have gotten some goals from low ,hard crosses drilled in
  2. Has he taken penalties for Forrest or did he get this responsibility because he is now a big name, with a big price tag. Surely the most expensive player in the under 20s squad?
  3. He needs to drastically improve his crossing. It's crucial for a modern day , Premier league full back. He has the rest in his locker and is still very young. I would say he has more going for him than the Ollsson twins did at his age. Their major USP was being left footed. Nyambe is just as quick and good on the ball, but is fair stronger. The Ollssons were better crossers though
  4. Exactly what they don't need after their great start.
  5. I would imagine they ask not to bring Rovers up. If we were in the premier league I bet they would be more proud of their "investment". As things stand they have made a complete b0ll0x of things financially and from a business sense
  6. He clearly is a hit with the ladies, then again footballers generally are. Richie Sadlier spoke about it in an interview once, not the biggest name, best player or most handsome chap. He said women would literally be throwing themselves at him and the other Milwall players in bars. Basically out to score a footballer, pun intended. Dack is a far better player than Sadlier and even as a hetrosexual male I would say better looking. The lifestyle he is living outside football is one that most 24 year olds dream about and we can say that he should do this and that all we want, but it really is easier said than done with regards to partying and going out meeting ladies. He isn't going to sit in alone watching Netflix on a Saturday night. The best case scenario would be that he meets a girl and settles down. Fergie used to push this hard when he was united manager. Granted Giggs was still making the boldy with his brothers wife, but I think in general its a good policy. So, do any of ye know of any nice ladies to set Dacky up with? #finddackawife
  7. I presume they presumed he was actually doing it!
  8. I spoke to a good friend last night who supports Villa. He would have a very good knowledge of the club. I asked him how are they getting away with what they're doing. His response was that they are gambling that they will go up this season. They are trying to sell some land they own around the stadium and the process of the training ground being sponsored has begun. Even with that, he said if they don't go up, they will be getting hit with sanctions.
  9. I think most agree that he is struggling with the step up. It's the description of his play last year as "rotten" I find over the top
  10. Rotten. That's a very nasty description of an honest lad who tried his best and did really well for us in League 1
  11. Which is why he has given the team that got us up a chance at this level. As mentioned above though, I think we are approaching the point where progression means that Smallwood will lose his starting place
  12. Deadly isn't it? Fair play to the guy. The hero we didn't even know we needed
  13. Not doing the community service is a disgrace really. Absolutely no excuse for it, none at all. I second the poster who said they feel bad for Mowbray, he shouldn't have to be going to court to vouch for a player who, lets call a spade a spade here, refused to do his community service because he for some bizzare reason, thought he would get away with it. That part is a real worry. How did he not comprehend that he wouldn't get away with it? It's embarassing for the club and the manager. He needs to get his shit together and make the most of his undoubted talent and the great opportunity he has been given here. For those saying we have all done stupid things when younger, I would point out that Dack is 24, not 16. He needs to get the fook away from this Z list celebrity lifestyle nonsense. Will he though? Time will tell. If he doesn't do it with Mowbray as his manager, he literally never will.
  14. George Best was a raging alcoholic who stopped playing football at 27. Lets not exaggerate!
  15. No, I don't think anyone sane and reasonable would argue that.
  16. No Stuart it's because they are 2 completely different situations if what was said about Travis is true. Dack was injured, hence he wasn't going to play anyway. Travis didn't play because he went off in a huff about not going on loan. Are you so stubborn in your criticism of Dack that you can't see the difference in the 2 scenarios? Baffling.
  17. In fairness to Evans, this is the longest he has had injury free and under a proper manager, both would be key factors in improved performances. Whatever the reason, if he keeps the performance levels up, it's a must that we tie him down to a new deal. I think he could really compliment the right midfield partner
  18. True, maybe its the lack of pressure on them via competition that is the issue. We got away with it last year as we would outscore the opposition. We need a tighter defense this year. I didn't actually realise Mulgrew is 6ft3. He always looks smaller to me
  19. Evans has the most interceptions and recoveries of any player so far this season in the Championship, along with the 2nd most tackles. Impressive.
  20. If you like old school wrestling I highly recommend checking out the youtube channel "Wrestling with Wregret" with Brian Zane. It is quality. He reviews old PPVs in a very informative, but light and entertaining way. He also covers up to date stuff and generally all things wrestling. Well worth a look
  21. I don't know if it is the same injury to be honest. He will miss games though, because he is always going to be fouled.
  22. Ya, but you said about Mowbrays "established pecking order" at centre half, what I was getting at was that its not an easy decision dropping one of Mulgrew and Lenihan, even though I think having someone like Aiden Flint there would be better. I would probably have to go with Lenihan at a push. Ya, it's realistic and I am sure the accountants told Venkys that this is what needs to be done to generate serious income. However, lets not downplay the fact that we did spend a decent wedge this summer. As it stands, we have a young, exciting team developing. Lets just see if we can achieve anything before we have to sell the crown jewels. Cos ultimately, every team has to sell the crown jewels if they don't get promoted. Unless you are Villa ,it seems
  23. Fair play. Talks of him getting back in the Scotland squad too
