  1. There will be a lot of Chicken on the menu.
  2. The Teleprinter, now those were the days ?
  3. When he sticks to football, music and nostalgia he is a good read. Not when he behaves like an "agent provocateur" in parts of his blog and around this MB, at times.
  4. On data, no cable where I am at present, so it's 7 mps. OK not great but streams and other apps have good picture quality and not much buffering. Watched Indies v England on a superb stream and same quality via an app made by some Indian guy. Watched Burnley v Spurs yesterday, great stream. YouTube is fantastic quality. IFollow was only just about watchable, although sound and vid seemed in sync. Not yet tried settings but will for the Rotherham game. To my layman's eye iFollow seems under powered.
  5. My Samsung Mobile did not get on with the iFollow app, the wife's did albeit poorly. Anyway I got myself a new Vivo and match pass for the Big Club game. The game was watchable BUT picture always a bit blurred, constant buffering, sometimes for long periods. Put it this way I finished watching my "live" transmission a full 20 minutes after the actual game ended. I watch a lot of football and cricket via streams and apps and even on my aged Samsung the quality of video etc is miles ahead of what the iFollow app provided on a new powerful mobile with ok internet speed. I cannot watch iFollow live games via a browser using an Android phone, it is not possible, you have to use the app. I hope quality improves for the likes of me in more remote regions, not currently City based.
  6. Which reminds me that I have not had a teacake in decades ☹️
  7. Watched on iFollow. Two dog shit teams and a dog shit referee. Pleased to only be robbed of a fiver.
  8. Rovers historical attendances http://european-football-statistics.co.uk/attnclub/league/blar.htm
  9. U18's at home to Man Utd today and listed as live at 11 am on MUTV. Hoping to find it somewhere.............
  10. Alastair Cook, in his final Test, left instructions as follows: * If fielding give me a shout. * If I'm at the crease don't disturb me. Myself I was half way round the world working for my family when my daughter was born, all was OK so no need to cut short a business trip. Unless there were known complications I would have played.
  11. Interesting. I thought the plan was to have one facility used by all, which seemed to be a sensible option to have resources, infrastructure in one situ.
  12. Owners pay for a manager to fly to Pune so they have the task of sacking him face to face? No way, not in a million Buddha lifetimes.
  13. Only Mrs Mowbray's Lemon Drizzle will do. Sounds good as a brand name, I could market that!
  14. Print your ticket at home. A great option, if you have access to a printer. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2019/february/print--home/
  15. Not if there's any Lemon Drizzle cake left! Lovely with a Cuppa.
  16. I watched Liverpool v Bayern until HT, 4 am-ish here, and fell asleep. Woke up thinking Bayern might have just sneeked a 0-1. I now fancy Liverpool to score at least 1 in the away leg so in with a chance with van Dijk back. Thought a few Liverpool players were a bit off in the half I saw, Robinson was one of then but both Bayern wingers (?) are hot. I am not wasting sleep on City though.
  17. You were quick to turn Billy Sharpe into Reading. Invited in? Dream on.
  18. In the small world of brfcs, known for it's critical stance on most Rovers issues, just a very small % of the small number of mb members who have voted actually want Mowbray sacked now. If anything the poll endorses Mowbray. But at least you do preserve our God given right to moan about anything and everything.
  19. The job was offered to Mowbray with the condition he accepted the exisiting coaching arragements and not to install his own team. He managed to get his best mate Venus a gig and later influenced the Waggott appointment. Lowe and the goalkeeping coaching situation are major question marks. All imo.
  20. Voted reasses in Summer but still ok for him to get 4 more windows. I will have a wobbler if we get tanked at home to Preston.
  21. He does go on to say it's a half breakfast early morning. Still a suprise though. I'd like to know who sits at the back of the bus, smoking fags, beers from the can, V signs and bare arses to other drivers.
