We didn't "best" them, if that means what I think it means. We competed well and looked dangerous, and mustered a couple of OK chances in the first half We lost to a volley Toth should certainly have stopped. The second goal is a great hit, but Miller got done for the cross. And then we meekly played the rest of the game out without threatening at all. I'm not sure why this game is being held up as some bastion of hope.

A recent meeting happened on the 20th. We know this because certain people in attendance have commented on X. We do not know the situation with the minutes. Any talk at the moment of them being disputed are hearsay. I suspect because of the tone of the comments people who attended last time received regarding the minutes and the forum itself, people who attended this time are staying quiet.

It took 25 days for the last minutes to get officially released, so another fortnight to go.

Both work hard, but I suspect centre halves prefer playing against Ohashi a lot more than they did with Dickov. Ohashi doesn't have that nasty, competitive streak.

I thought Montgomery’s naive enthusiastic energy helped us in midfield. The attitude was right. A bit of fortune with the equaliser and then pleased for Gudjohnsen to hit the winner. Shout out to Toth for the big saves at 1-0. Match winning.

Listened to the full 7 minute interview this morning. What a nobhead. His body language showed his discomfort, almost anger, at Bayes questioning which , whilst not being harsh, was just direct. His ‘can we just talk about football or end this now’ was telling. He could have said he just wanted to talk about the game, but he had to put the threat in there. Ismael and Rudy come across as two peas in the same pod. All the talk with Travis was he was just being honest when he threw him under the bus. He’s done it with Big Mak now and publically says Tyjon isnt good enough. All very well people saying at least he’s honest, but not when he clearly lies about the squad not having lost any quality.

Disagree. That team had more championship nouse and football intelligence than this lot. Also more fight. Steele, Nyambe, Mulgrew, Lenihan, Williams Emnes, Bennett, Evans, Conway Graham , Gallagher (Young version) Who ‘clearly’ gets in that XI from our starting line up. Alebiosu, Tronstadt, Cantwell. Then maybe Toth.

If you insist on playing 3 at the back you go with Pickering. He’s done it before with some success. He wasn’t on the bench yesterday though so either he’s injured or spoken out against Rudy’s bullying or Big Val’s birthday bash.

Play me and I’d battle well, but I’d still be shit. Gudjohnsen has yet to show he has the ability for this level. See “Telalovic”

Over these next two games, I’d be looking at bringing Gueye back in for one. Yes he’s pretty poor and isn’t some saviour or answer, but he does offer something slightly different and Gudjohnsen hasn’t appeared better
