  1. Chelsea fans will blame a loss on Timo Werner.
  2. I really wish he'd stop telling me it's not 1995. Do you see people wandering the streets listening to Oasis on their Sony Discman's Tony?! It's insulting that he thinks we're stuck in some sort of timewarp. I think most Rovers fans are reasonable and fully aware of the club's current standing in the football heirarchy. And the form we showed in the 2nd half of the season would be deemed unacceptable by pretty much any of the 92 football clubs, regardless of what they might have been doing quarter of century ago. His deflection tactics don't wash with me. He's always desperate to talk about the past or the future, because both can be manipulated. How about we deal with the present Tony, the here and now. Because that picture is looking grim as hell.
  3. He's just a little pest, constantly buzzing around being a nuisance, trying to slap balls out of scrum half's hands. Makes me chuckle. I flicked over last weekend and saw he launched himself into a ruck like a human cannonball. 😂😂 An inch or so the wrong way and it's probably a red now, but you can't argue with his commitment. Leaves it all out on the pitch.
  4. Love watching Faf de Klerk play. I'll be hoping he gets squashed in the Lions tour though. Will no doubt boss us.
  5. Sorry, collateral damage. You've been caught by the shrapnel once people crossed the line and started calling each other names. Note to people: Please act civilly and stop calling each other names and then DeeCee won't be left wondering where posts have disappeared to.
  6. Actually gave me a chuckle. Well, good luck in your quest to conquer Mordor or whatever the hell it is you're doing. I don't think I have the energy, inclination, or intellect to solve the riddles. 😜
  7. Sounds like something Florentino Perez would say.
  8. 🤔🤔 You've either got short term memory loss, or are purposely acting up. While I'm at it, for someone who claims to want to unite the Rovers fanbase, you sure are employing an odd tactic. I don't think patronising people, spinning weird riddles, and basically treating folk like they're dirt on your shoe is really the way to encourage everyone to board the bandwagon.
  9. Which is a more likely to happen? TM leaving or being treated to a few paragraphs? 🤔 I get the feeling both are pipe dreams. 😜 You're bang on in what you say though, passionate and from the heart. Sad to see so many disillusioned fans. Then infuriating when people have the gall to call us spoilt for feeling that way. Couldn't be further from the truth the crap we've put up with this last decade.
  10. Finally in mine but with no sound. Will get to see the silky skills for the last half hour.
  11. The Real Madrid boss is going to look like a dick after his comments earlier today. He was giving it the billy big potatoes..... none of you can stop it or punish us! Now everyone drops out hours later including the 2 Spanish rivals potentially. Oooops. 😀
  12. Virgin have cocked up the red button again. Don't know if to be happy or sad about it. Might have to watch Chelsea instead.
  13. Quick look at a Spurs messageboard and interesting to see over 90% of them against it. A few even saying they would stop supporting the club just like Neville. https://thefightingcock.co.uk/forum/threads/spurs-elite-clubs-to-announce-european-super-league-uefa-threatens-ban-full-details-in-op.40642/
  14. Elliott with a dedication to the Hillsborough victims on his T shirt there. I'd forgotten it was the anniversary yesterday.
  15. Championship game on Sky the other day commentator said: "The Swansea management team say they aren't interested in possession stats, only how many times the attack breaks the lines and gets in behind. That's the only numbers they care about" It caused me to weep a little.
  16. 😯😯 I'd strongly recommend Les pulls a sickie tomorrow. His ear's going to be red raw by end of the day. 😀 But on a serious note, would this all not get fed back to the top? If the office staff ring about 100 a day for renewals and half of them all say how angry they are with TM and the state of the club, surely at some point they have to realise this is seriously damaging their customer base. That's how a normal business would operate.......... I think I see where I'm going wrong.
  17. Hopefully with this being the longest of seasons (Covid- playing in July, Aug etc), there will be a lot of that about. Although, that also means the teams below desperate for wins might be playing against the same. Which is worrying.
  18. Yeah, can we not call him it again please. 👍 Or go on Twitter or something and actually say it "to his face" if you are so inclined. Just not on here please.
  19. Why isn't it one of our strengths Tony?! Has that thought ever entered your head these last few years. With the height we had on the pitch today - Brereton, Gallagher, Johnson, Lenihan to name a few - teams should be shitting themselves when we have an attacking set piece. But they're not....they're too busy planning how to tear us apart on the break.
  20. With Bradley Johnson round the centre circle?
  21. Sounds like you do. I see you have a needless, painful friendly against Qatar tonight, who are in decent form. Good luck! Since it's on Sky I might dip in and see if I can spot the similarities with Rovers. The guy on radio was: "Anyone can keep possession at the back, it goes sideways and backwards, but never goes anywhere. What's the point in that!" Now where have I heard that before. 🤔
  22. Was Irish guy on radio today talking about your team's style of posession with no end product. Said you only had one decent chance midweek and that was blazed over the bar. His frustrations with the manager sounded identical to Rovers. Are you supporting 2 football teams with the exact same issues? 🤔 If so, you have my deepest sympathies. I can barely cope with 1 helping.
  23. Should switch to CNN. They seem to have full coverage. You're right, it is a fascinating case, and I don't think it's overdramatic to say it could possibly be the biggest in history if you factor in the potential consequences. I reckon there will be fairly large riots if the defendant gets a medium conviction of, say, manslaughter and 10 years. An acquittal doesn't even bear thinking about, there would be full on armageddon in the States.
