  1. All that way then didn't say boo to a goose. Better left in the past as you say
  2. I blame Northern. You can't run a train with a driver alone other than the tube that is fully automated but has staff at all stations
  3. Train strike every Saturday in November and December. Annoying but they have my support. http://m.nationalrail.co.uk/pj/disruption/details/F598877D3D0A42FAACE9004D57B62283
  4. Breaking News: Bobby Charlton is to be recalled to the England team. Bobby wasn't given a proper send off as the last of his 106 England caps came in Mexico during the 1970 World Cup. Additionally Bobby never got awarded a cap for friendlies so it's only fitting he gets his 107th in such a game especially as they are now devalued and any old dosser can get one. The FA also feel it's only fair he's given the chance to regain his top England goalscoring record and therefore will be put on penalty duty and special dispensation has been applied to FIFA to suspend the offside rule for Bobby thus allowing him to tartline. After all it's just a friendly.
  5. It's taking the piss. Yes donate proceeds to his charity and invite him as a GUEST but there's no need whatsoever to pick him to play in a full international as some kind of smaltzy sendoff that nobody cares about. Nobody likes him anyway ? it totally demeans the England cap. Just after they have done so well trying to make England games relevant again. Plant pots
  6. So free with his chances too yet poor Danny is straight under the bus.
  7. Forest fans have seen him more. So it's worth taking a small bit of notice.
  8. BBC are at it too (no embellishment) "Leeds, backed by more than 7,700 travelling supporters......only to find it was an irrelevance as their team got battered."
  9. I read that Leeds brought 3 million. Is that true?
  10. To me it's irrelevant if 101% of late buying fans aren't put off by the £3 surcharge. It's the whole concept of the surcharge that's shoddy. It's something I would expect of Ryanair. A shoddy Shi tty company I have the utmost contempt for. What next? Pre-order booked tickets you print at home yourself but only from 2 hrs before kickoff and you are charged £25 if you don't? It's another incident that shows the club has changed in all recognition from the supporter friendly community spirit club pre-Rao
  11. £3 extra for buying a ticket late is shameful and basically a slimeball practice no matter how you flower it up even from a conceited ivory 'real fans pay anything' tower.
  12. Maybe not to a Rothschild like yourself.
  13. Does not even qualifying for the competition proper count as a jaunt? ?????????????????????????????
  14. Don't get too caught up with political Lancashire as Blackburn isn't in it
  15. And Burnley still haven't played a game in a major European competition for over 50 years ??
  16. Means nothing. Apart from some gargantuan over hype when he appeared at Everton he's done sweat FA. He's wasted his 20's so oobviouslyits natural to expect him to carry on in that vein. At least we can send him packing in May.
  17. Hmm. A signing that screams "desperation" 2/10 must try harder.
  18. As a kid I recall Lenny scoring a screamer to salvage a point in an important game. Was it 2-2 v Sunderland when the wheels fell off the 92 promotion wagon??? Anyway he was always one of my favourites at the time as he was, like handbag, a product of the youth setup. So sad ☹️
  19. And how do people become proper managers? Someone gives them a chance We all bemoan the same old recycled shite doing the rounds down the years
  20. Eh? Since when?* *This summer has been too hot to bother with footy Goss after the wc
