  1. It is yep, I'm a weekly watcher. James Richardson presenting the Sunday night games 👍
  2. 20% of the profit made on his next transfer will be owed to us, according to FM.
  3. We did win four in a row in October, but that run followed the shocker at Wigan which, albeit to a lesser extent, is a result people haven't really recovered from along with the Burnley/Preston games (especially when you see how bad Wigan are....). And then after the four wins it was a terrible performance at Coventry, so you're right about stinking defeats following wins. Lambert after his initial honeymoon I'd say, sort of December 2015/January 2016. Terrible. Albeit that was only a couple of months and after that I did think we'd started to play some decent stuff until he decided he couldn't be assed anymore.
  4. If he identified the likes of Hirst, Mola and Szmodics in summer he also needs to take a look at himself.
  5. Don’t think there is one during this season - January 2024 looks like the next one?
  6. Oh Chaddy 🤦‍♂️ if they were daft enough to sack a manager who had us in mid-table PL and reaching cup semi finals, in what world were they going to appoint somebody better?
  7. He is yep. He’s posted quite a few Instagram stories from Old Trafford before when he’s gone to watch.
  8. Presumably these people would have been gutted had England and Raheem Sterling won the Euro’s. Everyone does indeed do it, it’s 2022 and there are fewer differences than ever between footballing cultures.
  9. Adam Wharton over Morton any day.
  10. That forum is such a good read after they lose, and that's after winning three of their last four before last night. If they ever go on a run of 2 wins in 17 it'd be amazing.
  11. He surely can't think that, he spent most of his playing career at the very highest level (including in England albeit briefly). He must know, especially by now, what the Championship is about. But, if he didn't learn from Wigan, Cardiff etc earlier in the season, and he clearly didn't learn from the Dingles disgrace.....will it be any different after today? If we carry on playing in this way, we'll plummet down the table.
  12. Neymar not taking a penalty for Brazil in a WC knockout game is madness. Yes, presumably he was fifth, but always a good chance it doesn’t get that far - mad. Well done Croatia!
  13. What a superb goal.
  14. I think you're the only poster that has said that both France will hammer us and Senegal will breeze past us (!).
  15. Will become! He's already an unbelievable footballer Chaddy, in fact he's probably the best player in the world now Messi has slowed down a little (although it was a joy to watch him last night).
  16. Did he? I’m far from an expert on the Brazilian top flight in the 1960s and 70s but the Brazil national team was obviously the best of that era….and all of the 1970 team, for example, played their club football in Brazil. For a variety of clubs. So my guess it was pretty strong.
  17. Indeed! If I wasn't going out to 'watch' England - which is more for the social side of it really - I'd be tempted to do the same.
  18. A promising youngster who's just broke through at Leeds is not Holland's best player. He's 21 and has only got 3 under 21 caps!! Memphis is a good player but their real strength is at the back. De Ligt, De Vrij, Van Dijk etc, they could even afford to leave Botman at home.
  19. Fine with them going on holiday, but they've just been part of the worst result against our bitter rivals since the 60s - I wouldn't be posting on social media for weeks if I was them, never mind the next day.
  20. I'd say we've got a healthy points total so far and nobody has even equalised against us in the league, so we're doing something right. But then I'd ask: Why are some of your team selections just so bizarre? In what world was Garrett a better option than Adam Wharton yesterday? Messing about with Vale then Hirst at Coventry. How can one player be out the squad game after game then in the starting eleven all of a sudden, as has happened with players like Hirst? RWB/RB and LWB/LB should be the easiest two selections for you each week (Brittain and Pickering), why are they sometimes dropped when in good form?
  21. No Kaminski in Belgium’s squad, so he’ll be available for when the Championship resumes. Good for us, but a shame for him to miss out.
  22. Superb that, get in Rovers! So good to have results like this in the cup for a change.
  23. Can't think of any since Chelsea 2009, off the top of my head...
  24. Yes. Ewood, last time I checked, is the emptiest stadium in the Football League in terms of capacity filled percentage (the stadium is on average 40 something % full). We therefore need to do everything to get people in the ground. On the pitch we’re ‘doing all we can’ by being in the top 2 - shame about Waggott’s horrendous pricing. £30 for a Championship game that’s on TV two weeks before Christmas, unbelievable.
  25. I agree - but seeing how JDT has managed Adam Wharton so far, if he was planning to play him on Sunday I don't think he'd play tomorrow night. We'll see, like I said I'd be tempted to stick him in.
