  1. Could leave Rovers with an interesting decision 😂 Like which taxi firm we are sending him to the airport with.
  2. Which makes me wonder....maybe the new manager is now known internally, and he's not happy with it?
  3. Absolutely. I'm excited at the appointment of Broughton....just because it gives hope of Knutsen. Knutsen would be an incredible appointment - not one I thought possible.
  4. https://trainingground.guru/articles/gregg-broughton-youth-development-lessons-from-bodo/glimt
  5. If that was true....could be potentially exciting on the manager front
  6. But the other 65% of his Achilles was very brave.
  7. Absolutely!!! Not a chance that a cricket ball missed Kean's head by inches and he didn't make sure everyone in the media knew he was the victim.
  8. At this rate he will have to be bringing Liam Manning back to life to take the job if the process takes any longer. (I know Little and Atkinson are still alive)
  9. Decisions, decisions...
  10. I never rated N'Zonzi. It used to drive me mad when he'd throw his arms around after losing the ball and not bother running back. I'm amazed that he went on to have the career he did and play for the clubs he did.
  11. His season only started in November, surely that's a short season?
  12. At this rate, your friend's Labrador will be odds on favourite in a couple of weeks.
  13. In fact, if you look at who Sky Bet currently have has favourites, he's by far the most experienced manager out of any of them (as Carvalhal isn't actually available anymore, so shouldn't be on there)
  14. A manager with over 500 games under his belt. Let's go for Ferguson instead.
  15. I doubt we'd have to pay anything. Sounds to me like Everton want rid, but are too scared to ask him to leave 😂
  16. You'd be pissed off if you were Ainsworth and Ferguson was picked before you. Absolutely nothing to suggest Ferguson deserves a shot more than Ainsworth. What's George Weah up to these days? Can he not put a call in on Ainsworth's behalf?
  17. Wilcox is one who intrigues me. He comes very well in interviews but does he actually have the desire to get into first team football management? He seems to be managing a lot of people at City - but not necessarily in a footballing capacity (as daft as that sentence sounds).
  18. He finished above Liverpool and Klopp with an inferior side the season before last.
  19. Recent United managers managing 20+ games (win percentages): Ferguson - 59.7% Mourinho - 58.3% Solskjaer - 54.2% Van Gaal - 52.4% Moyes - 51.9% Rangnick - 37.9% He doesn't necessarily strike me as a top manager, but better win percentages than Van Gaal and Moyes suggest he's not that bad. They finished above Liverpool and Klopp in 20/21. I'd certainly take him over some of the names being linked.
  20. Automatic promotion in his only full season and then sacked in December after a poor start in the Premier League. We should be dismissing the likes of Farke, Dyce and Wagner as contenders if being a success in the Championship but struggling in the Premier League counts as a failure.
