Wilcox is one who intrigues me. He comes very well in interviews but does he actually have the desire to get into first team football management? He seems to be managing a lot of people at City - but not necessarily in a footballing capacity (as daft as that sentence sounds).

Recent United managers managing 20+ games (win percentages): Ferguson - 59.7% Mourinho - 58.3% Solskjaer - 54.2% Van Gaal - 52.4% Moyes - 51.9% Rangnick - 37.9% He doesn't necessarily strike me as a top manager, but better win percentages than Van Gaal and Moyes suggest he's not that bad. They finished above Liverpool and Klopp in 20/21. I'd certainly take him over some of the names being linked.

Automatic promotion in his only full season and then sacked in December after a poor start in the Premier League. We should be dismissing the likes of Farke, Dyce and Wagner as contenders if being a success in the Championship but struggling in the Premier League counts as a failure.
