  1. I'd say so. I've been really impressed with the two outings he's made so far. If he keeps it up he really could be mulgrews successor
  2. I watched them play against Salford in the international break and they were awful. They didn't have a manager then and seemed a club in complete disarray
  3. I don't think I've ever read a rovers players autobiography that has revealed anything interesting most didn't already know. In fact most are just a chapter or two sandwiched between another club they would rather associate thereselves with. I'm waiting for my year at St Andrews to come out by David dunn
  4. After seeing Rodwell in the u23s I would be giving him a start cb if he's up to speed fitness wise. He could be the ideal long term replacement for mulgrew. Travis, brereton, Armstrong Palmer, and rothwell all need to start. Would like to see Butterworth on the bench again after his display in the last round. Hope the long trip and two days off work is worth it. COYB
  5. I only went for slash. Wtf
  6. And I thought I was harsh ?
  7. I bow to Tony's superior knowledge I'm just guna STFU over here and wait for the goals to roll in ?
  8. I see 8 players in our half trying to not let stoke get through, hoofing long balls to graham who hopefully wins a few balls and manges to find dack, who will be man marked, they can afford to double up on him, who then has to do something magic. All the talk of philosophy and players needing to learn there roles. If they score after ten minutes the whole system and personnel needs re shuffling and changing . Absolutely bs.
  9. 10 soldiers and one artist. So much for attacking football and Tony's philosophy. Basically trying to soak up all pressure like at derby. We will be beaten today and deservedly so. A team void of creativity .All that attacking talent on the bench is criminal. Wigan had a go and looked what Happened. The absolute best case scenario is a nil nil. Joke line up. This is stoke. Admittedly a better team and favourites for the win but that level of respect shown is a disgrace. They aren't city. We are Blackburn rovers . 8 defenders and a goalie. Embarrassing
  10. Ray harford was also very loyal. It's not always the right way to go about it though as history has proven
  11. Watched Abit of the stoke game against Swansea and they looked dangerous but missed some really good chances. I think the game against us is when stoke arrive and put us to the sword. 3-0 to stoke.
  12. Harrison Reed is a talent but we will wait and see. Said Tony. Wait and see for what. It's comments like that I don't understand. He says we need to improve in quality and may need the transfer market to do it, yet has a new signing with the quality but he's waiting and seeing. What is he waiting for exactly.
  13. So did Jason Lowe to add perspective
  14. I couldn't agree more or have put it better
  15. Im from wigan and will always be Lancashire no matter how many times or where they move the invisible lines to
  16. You would think any professional footballer at any level could cross a still ball unchallenged in to the box
  17. This has been the exact problem for many years and no manager seems to address is
  18. Happy with a point. Delighted with one after that performance. Absolutely bizarre starting line up. Why Tony has signed, what is it , 7 players and only two start. We needed signing that could strengthen the starting 11, go straight in and make a difference. Nyambe was the man of the match easily. Evans and Smallwood again run around putting tackles in but it's when they are in possession that's the problem. We need someone like a, oh I don't know, reed Bennett or rothwell in their who can pass/drive forward when we have the ball not constantly do a 8 yard pass to the centre backs. A big difference following on from that was how much we missed mulgrews composure and distribution, his ability to find a man and play out from the defence showed today. We we're bad, derby were bad and the game was awful. Thank God it's over
  19. Derby have been just as bad. This is a horrible watch
  20. He could dot the i's but he'd mess the crosses up on the t's
  21. I feel sorry for anyone who has paid money to watch this
  22. Do people now see why we didn't want Conway to get a new contract regardless of how good a craic he is in the dressing room
  23. Dya get the feeling there going to go two up Tony changes it and we play well only for it to be to late and we all discuss the what could have been if we had started with that 11
