Our results are absolutely bipolar at the moment, but I expect another high scoring loss. Under Mowbray we can't beat in form teams or favourites for promotion.

Tony Mowbray Discussion
Norbert Rassragr replied to Neal's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Barton is a c--t, a nobody as a manager and a Roy Keane wannabe. He'll be found out in time as another blow hard out of his depth and will crash and burn. One day the mask of sanity will slip and he'll have stabbed a player on the training ground or punched an opposing manager (again) and go back to prison. -

Nope, it will only encourage them. -
Coventry v ROVERS
Norbert Rassragr replied to Hoochie Bloochie Mama's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Been in Coventry for about 4 or 5 years now. They were at Wycombe, and about 1 hour from extinction, then someone bought them and moved them to Coventry as the Ricoh was up for sale, and no stadiums in London were. -

A very long story Exiled Rover. In short, Wasps own it after buying out the two owners (the council and a charity called the Alan Highs trust). The owners of City tried to buy one half of it using some holding/shell company that was going into receivership. Then they fell out with Wasps and refused to pay the rent when the contract was up. There's been court cases, speculative talk of other sites (e.g. the now abandoned speedway track) but nothing has ever happened. -

Not missing that much. The Ricoh, where they used to play is near a scrap yard and a load of warehouses. And before that Highfield Road was slap bang in the middle of Hillfields, where the prozzies and drug dealers hang out. -

I want Coventry City to do well, but I hope we win 10-0 now. -

It's a must win game already, as a loss could mean another of those long winless runs that end the season. -
Nottingham Forest Home

Pretty much my view. The new players might provide the extra 10% needed to win games like this and Cardiff. It's annoying to lose in the last few minutes, but the season is long. Let's see how the new players fit in. -
Summer Transfer Window

Oh right, I misread the BBC site. Is this a big loss, or were the other youngsters better? And is there any talk of a fee? -

Andrew Fisher has gone to Milton Keynes on loan. -

When has Bolasie been linked? Another loan? That would be mental (in a good way)! -

I'd never have guessed the director of Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks was in the know about football transfer deals. Then again he is always odd and has quite random interests. -

I probably don't want to be disappointed, so I'm not expecting anything despite a good window and a good squad. -

I'm a natural pessimist, so with no crowds generating income, another season in this division could end up a repeat of when Bowyer sold of Gestede and so on, and we end up getting the next Wes and Chris Brown. -
Project "Big Picture"

Don't forget his mate Peter Lim also owns Valencia and gave Gary a manager's job there until he turned out to be poop. I always want Salford to lose as it's all corrupt, having a Sky pundit and Skybet sponsoring the team, and the league they're in. -

It's been a very good window so far, and we should be up there in the play off places, and not have one of those bad runs of losses. However, not getting promoted could lead to a difficult financial situation, and a few good players being sold. It's a bit of a do or die situation. -
Project "Big Picture"
Norbert Rassragr replied to 47er's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
There should be a 'Project GTFO' to structure a league without the 'big 6' that excludes all their players from UEFA and FIFA tournaments, the league and so on. Call their bluff, expel them. Instead of seeing them as big scary economic giants, see them as 6 bullies facing off against an entire nation of sport. If need be, cancel relegation from the premier League as well. It'll be hard in the short term, but if all the club's co-ordinate with UEFA and FIFA they can defeat them. It'll never happen though, as there is too much corruption and short term self interest involved. -

It's a no from me over Jones. Error prone, injury prone and will treat a return like he'd not have to give it 100% as we're a 'lesser club' in a a division below. He was quick to run off to a bigger club in a manner a bit like Bentley and give it the Billy big balls thinking he made it. -
Now what a coincidence. Kean coming from Greece that is rife with match fixing allegations to work with a guy who got a ban.

Whatever Tony and co. have done over the last few weeks, they should carry on doing it. Just need Ayala to fit into the team and then a left back and backup keeper. -
Summer Transfer Window
Norbert Rassragr replied to Stuart's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
All I'll say is that loads of players have come through league 1 and lower, and been very good. Players like Antonio, Wright, Vardy and Deeney have taken a longer route than a Beckham or Terry. However, we need a left back first. -
Get him on a long contract, and if/when a club tries to buy him, get a decent sell on percentage in place.
