  1. I reckon he'll do alright there. He's got good control and a top notch work rate. They play the game on the ground which will suit him much better than longer balls over the top.
  2. As I just posted in another thread. So fucking predictable.
  3. I don't know about the thin part but they're certainly thick.
  4. That's the thing with this regime, they're thick as pig shit. They use the same tired tactics over and over again. You only have to look through this message board over the last couple of years to see how many times their actions are accurately predicted. One example: After the deliberate sabotage of the Lewis O'Brien transfer I posted that they would blame the EFL for the transfer failure. The very next day they came out with exactly that, trying to place the blame with the EFL and going through that ridiculous appeal process that cost a fortune. Unfortunately there's still a lot of fans that are so completely brain dead they still believe this shit. One of them is a VERY frequent poster on this message board. Any guesses who it could be? I have no time for folk like that, they're completely pathetic and are as much of the problem as venkys. Having a difference in opinion is one thing but denying reality is unacceptable. Believe the dog shit that the club puts out there is on par with climate change denial and belief in a flat earth.
  5. We can afford that. We've brought in close to £50 million over the last two years. The owners of the club are billionaires, apparently. Simple.
  6. If you have more people coming in it makes it harder to justify closing the place down.
  7. Wot R u on abowt? It woz o gud pryische!
  8. It's OUR club. All of us. Not Jack Walker's, not venkys, ours.
  9. To not even hit 20,000 for the first game of the season is complete failure. That's before you even factor in that there were 7,000 away fans.
  10. That's offensive to all plants, especially succulents.
  11. The biggest protest we've had is the 12,000+ that have voted with their feet and stopped going. All's that's left now are the absolute hardcore (even some of them are starting to reach the point of knocking it on the head) and the drongo suuuuper fanz. The brain dead happy clappers are as much to blame for the situation as venkys and their cohorts IMO.
  12. You can't if you've got the brain capacity of a rotten apricot. The people who say shit like that are not worth talking to. They're as thick as pig shit and not deserving of anyone's time or attention. Their opinions are worthless.
  13. That statement they put out completely contradicted itself. Only someone who is totally brain dead would take anything this club says seriously. I know double speak is the standard for large organisations but they're not even good at doing that. I think we've got a chance to cause them some real problems at the minute as they are so totally inept there's no way they'll be able to deal with it. We need to take this chance and give them a good slap.
  14. That entire statement completely contradicts itself. They really are as thick as pig shit down there.
  15. Do us all a favour then and don't bother talking again until you actually have something to say. And no, just parroting club propaganda does not count.
  16. You're assuming they have the brain capacity to think.
  17. You sure? He wore the number one jersey for a championship team for two years. I fail to see how he could get any luckier than that.
  18. Fair do's to him. He was unemployed and he's picked up a job with 3.5 years guaranteed wages. Results don't matter, if he does well he's worked an absolute miracle and if he doesn't then can he really be blamed completely? He's irrelevant. We could have Ancelotti in charge and it wouldn't make any difference. The club has been as clear as they can be, there is no ambition to get promoted back into the Premier League. I honestly don't care anymore. They've never seen a penny of my money and they never will. This situation is not unique to Rovers either, there needs to be fundamental changes to the way football clubs are owned. Until that is changed there will just be more of the same. Fuck it. Roll on league one.
  19. Isn't a number 6 a central defender?
  20. They did it deliberately as well.
  21. Both? That's usually how everything has gone over the last 15 years. It doesn't have to be either or. Both things are true at the same time.
  22. Nailed on certainty this year.
