  1. Think of getting rid of 6-8 grand a week and replacing with a grand a week....🫣
  2. If we are destined to fight a relegation this season, sorry transition this season then we need a capable back up keeper not a rookie whose already in one game thrown away a goal. Beyond stupid to gamble on otherwise and at the moment that back up is Pears, only an idiot would get rid of him just to allow a kid to be backup.
  3. They'll be flipping him to Burnley for a few million once they are back in the Championship again.
  4. Ian Poveda the lad they sign on loan from Leeds for 12 months for 20 grand a week then fail to insert any clause relating to what happens if he gets injured. He does, so he has to go back to Leeds for treatment as per contract but Rovers still have to pay 20k a week for a year ! Incompetence doesn't even begin to cover it and that was under Venus and Mowbrays watch. No wonder we never went anywhere under them i dread to think what money was spaffed on loans and wages for next to nothing in return.
  5. It's running costs only but in any case when have they sent money for transfers ? They don't, whenever there's been modest spending it always comes when outgoing sales money is dropping in the account.
  6. Priceless defenders of the realm as usual... 'Unsold tickets have to go on the team bus so they can be given back and sold on the day' er... there are no sales on the day ! 'Remaining tickets have to be give back to the home club so they can sell them to their fans' ...somehow for this fixture at that club i don't think there'll be any need for that unless i'm missing something. By the way given the nudges to all digital tickets non of it makes any sense at all.
  7. Seems it was the same last time away at Hull. Such a tinpot way to operate in 2025.
  8. Duru's mam is from Phili and he is eligible to play for the US so perhaps it's something that was always on the cards. No doubt the new regime was only too happy to oblige him in finding something out there.
  9. Absolutely off their heads this lot.
  10. That was never ever the intention it was just chucked out there when Mowbray started to feel the heat. Then it became the Barnsley model when the training ground stuff leaked out because they run their academy and training complex all in one apparently. All just whitewashing to cover that the owners weren't making money available for transfers and at some point all those at the club knew the sales conveyor belt was about to begin again sooner or later. Perhaps those were the models TM and/or Waggot wanted but it was never going to happen as the model under Suhail and friends was never going to be more than player development/survival. Keep everyone in wages and commissions and keep the owners happy with the cost cutting.
  11. They'd be better just allocating a permanent lounge for leaving do's !
  12. How many staff events does the club shop host ?
  13. It'll just be followed eventually by oh well league 1 mid table is about our level anyway, look at Barnsley and Doncaster. If the owners didn't fund us we'll be Bury or Morcambe. Lets be grateful we have a team and we still play at Ewood and now we have a Tesco on the car park for cheap pre match snacks !
  14. Already had that from someone who joined in Aug 25 and had about 8 followers. 'Not enough people go in there so they can't justify it it's only Skysports what's the big deal' And it went on and on....
  15. I'd say it's him and other middlemen who have decided there's no point approaching the owners with a plan to buy the club unless there is 1/200 million on the table. Because they are terrified the owners might just engage in a serious conversation and then his and his mates gravy train ego trip is over. Only way to do anything with that lot is get to them directly and by them i mean the two head honchos not the siblings.
  16. Following the withdrawal of our food suppliers due to technical issues ...(Parking Charges) 'We want to create a concourse where fans feel more connected so we are putting up some Rovers pictures and providing microwaves and hot water so you can heat your own pies and make your own brews' Footnote: There will be a Β£5 per match service charge for this, consider joining Jacks Kitchen instead where we'll still give you pie and peas for Β£15 !
  17. It would not surprise anyone, i suppose they are just copying NHS policy 🀨
  18. Saving the planet again, good old Rovers everyone come by bus. bike or foot please. Only half price to park yer bike !
  19. I thought it was already denied that matchday staff were going to be charged to park ? Another lie ? I mean. a football club bar for its own season ticket holders and people charged to go then not being about to watch Skysports is probably par for the course with the stupidity we've seen here down the years. Expecting people turning up to work a few hours to then have to pay to park is pushing it even for these pathetic clowns. I hope the concourse franchise dump the club, leave them high and dry i doubt they make much for the Ewood gig anyway.
  20. They aren't creating a space that feels more connected to the club the are replacing something with a low cost fill in just like the team and everything else. Why do people fall for this shite. All they will do in the longer term is reduce their trade even more as people elect to go in or stay the boozers instead. The Labour party have more brains than this lot and the bar is as low as it can get there.
  21. That's a clear sign of his gravy train and ego being exposed.
  22. Has a really familiar look to it, wonder what these guys need Morcambe FC for really. A marketing tool or money pit ?
  23. And i bet they still have Skysports on in their clubhouse ! One thing that struck me about that takeover was in a BBC interview there were 2 fellas and one of them said 'Trust us'..... πŸ€” I'm sure that sounded familiar.
  24. The whole point of billionaire owners is so a club like us of limited means because of the area in which we reside can then compete with a lot of those from much larger catchment areas leading to bigger crowds and income. That's the whole point of it but they've even managed to feck that up now so what's the point of them ? To just provide their mates well paid jobs and their agent mates regular commission ?
