    Consolidation was expected by most this Season but a return to Div1 looks more on the cards than a return to the Top flight in the near future. Venkys..we simply can't escape them and the impact they have had on this Club.

    The model of the finished Ewood that still resides in the Boardroom I believe was to mirror the Jack Walker stand on the Riverside...would have looked fantastic with about a 40k capacity. So long as it doesn't impact on transfer finances why anyone would object to redevelopment of the 'Cowshed' is totally beyond me.     We simply can't defend for Toffee,so soft at the back.Our coveted 'playboy' main Striker has also gone Awol...does not bode well. Nowhere near good enough,the Manager and team need a kick up the arse and fast. Grim stuff this.
