  1. I doubt they will get much from this - it's only on iPlayer and the BBC website with a single camera. As I thought the only one the BBC are showing on terrestrial TV is the FC United game.
  2. As I've just posted on the match thread Safari has worked fine for me for all the games I've seen - all but 2 and on iMac at home and iPad on our boat in Cheshire.
  3. I'm on Safari, which has worked fine for me for every game I've seen (all except Bournemouth & Newcastle) on both iMac and iPad. The latter was on our narrowboat in the middle of the Cheshire countryside.
  4. It's obviously a bit early for Rovers but I thought it worth mentioning Chorley's "plum" tie in Round 1 away at Wigan. They must stand a chance there and maybe even TV coverage. Although I suspect that FC United v Doncaster is probably a banker there.
  5. Yes, free to ST holders and you should have had a code already. If you're not a ST holder I presume you can pay £10, but it's also on the Sky red button and I believe there is a way to see it through Bet365 as well.
  6. Two telling sets of stats. Reading have had 51 shots, 25 on target and 11 goals for and 1 against. We have 125 shots, 52 on target and 16 goals for and 7 against.
  7. Same with me Jimbo - there are very few people I can pass going uphill. My weight advantage on the downhill means I do pass a few there though! I like to refer myself as an OFBIL rather than a MAMIL - Fat Old Bloke in Lycra. But I've done all those climbs in Mallorca, some of them several times. I found the Puig Major bloody hard work, more for the length at 15km. Sa Calobra I enjoy despite the pain as it's such a beautiful road and it's fabulous to ride down. The hardest climb I do there (and we go usually at least once a year, except this year), is the back road from Llucmajor up the Puig de Randa - seriously steep. But there's plenty of flatter roads in Mallorca if you stay over to the east.
  8. An extraordinary cycling day today. Geraint Thomas's chances of winning the Giro disappeared on day 2 three weeks ago when he crashed but that just unexpectedly led to anther Brit, Tao Geogheghan Hart taking his chance to move from domestique to team leader and to win a final time trial from the Australian Jai Hindley. I remember several years ago Tao flashing past me on the Col d'Orient in Mallorca. And then the same thing is happening in the Vuelta. Danny Martinez, the Education First tema leader is out of the race already and Hugh Carthy from Preston finds himself leading the team and today moving into second place behind Richard Carapaz. I can't really believe that history is going to repeat itself here as there are still two weeks to go but you never know.
  9. Plenty of players were poor against Forest. Buckley was as well, although he still played the pass of the game - it wasn’t his fault that Nyambe wasn’t alive to it. I suspect that he might play well with Elliott though.
  10. Well you presumably knew that Saturday away games were extra when you bought your ST didn’t you? You are getting an extra 7 midweek away games over what would normally be available.
  11. Feb 2001 apparently. 1-0, Marcus Bent. The play-off semi final second leg in 1989 felt like a win. 1-1 after extra time after a 0-0 first leg so through on away goals. I won’t mention the final though.
  12. Maybe Phillip, but by all accounts they were pretty fortunate last night at home to Wycombe.
  13. The club did have a skeleton crew in through the lockdown. It’s just that they were doing work to make the ground Covid safe for when we can get back in and doing work on those areas where there is statutory safety work to be done.
  14. Amazed and appalled that an employee is taking up his rights under UK employment law to take paternity leave?
  15. In the groups everyone plays each other home and away. Then the top two in each group go into Division 1, the third and fourth into Div 2 and the 5th and 6th into Div 3. Then I think everyone plays in each other once in each division. Whoever wins Div 1 are County Champions and then they play the second team in a one-off game for the Bob Willis Trophy. The diagram is a bit misleading on the last bit.
  16. Not that it matters overall but Elliot has to be registered as he’s a loan player.
  17. Given the fact that we will be playing twice a week from now for most of the rest of this season he will continue to get plenty of game time even if it's only now and then off the subs bench.
  18. That would be a result in my view - where do I sign?
  19. The advantage they have is that it's very easy to socially distance their trophies.
  20. I can't see any confirmation yet but this is on the BBC website: - Another Republic player missed Sunday's draw with Wales after a positive test. Four other squad members - John Egan, Callum Robinson, Callum O'Dowda and Alan Browne - who were close contacts, also missed the Nations League game at the Aviva Stadium. As I understand it there were 5 players altogether - one positive and 4 who had close contact. So if Williams was one of the five I presume he is the positive one.
  21. I finished my 1,000 mile cycle challenge today with a great ride from Caton to home. To date I’ve raised over £1,500 for WaterAid.
  22. Despite an individual winning It, the Tour de France is absolutely a team sport. It can’t be won by an individual.
