  1. Exactly the same date - I remember as it's my birthday. The only difference was it was a 3pm kick-off as it was a Sunday. Just ready for a slip up at home then. Their away form in the last 4 is one draw at Coventry and 3 defeats.
  2. Even if somehow the football authorities could find vaccines on what is currently a non-existent market, you can’t seriously think they would arrange for hugely overpaid young men to be vaccinated ahead of vulnerable grannies, just for a few games of football?
  3. Where on earth is anyone going to find vaccines available on the private market right now?
  4. Looks like being three places now - Cardiff now 2-0 down at Norwich with 20 minutes to go.
  5. India's 36 beats the Australian 47 I saw in Cape Town in 2011. I went to the second day of the test when there was some part of all 4 innings in a day.
  6. It’s not just your opinion Bazza. Beckham played a grand total of 5 games for North End in the bottom tier - was it Division 4, Division 3 or League 2 then? He was also 19, not 17.
  7. To be fair Mike Cheston’s comments were on 1st December, before we knew the extent of Wharton’s injury and well before Williams’s injury.
  8. That cross is a good example of what I mean. Buckley overhit a cross in the first half, but someone (Gallagher?) picked it up and the attack continued. Just before Elliott ballooned a cross from the same place into the stand. Guess who got pilloried for the cross on this thread? This is not to suggest that Elliott is crap because of a misplaced cross - every player, no matter how good does the same sort of thing from time to time. I, and a few others, have praised his performance more than once this season, although my bad memory precludes me from remembering which games. Others have been constant critics.
  9. Buckley has started 2 games this season - last night and Forest. He has come on as a sub 10 times and has a total of 423 minutes, so the equivalent of less than 5 games. I do think that the usual Forum groupthink has settled on Buckley as this week's scapegoat. I suppose it gives Williams and Bell a rest. I suspect Douglas is next. Buckley wasn't great last night, but then nobody was, with the possible exception of Nyambe. Elliott is clearly a considerably more talented player but even he misplaced quite a number of passes last night.
  10. Tom - the cleaning of panelling was authorised on 1st December as per the Fans Forum minute that day: - a) Ewood Park Maintenance and Appearance JW asked whether any further progress had been made with the maintenance work required at Ewood Park. MC replied that he had that day authorised work on cleaning the moss from the panelling, but that the current financial position meant that the club had to be constantly careful of expenditure.
  11. I'm just bumping up this thread as the producers are still keen to get hold of material for the documentary series. You can either contact Nick direct or send me a PM.
  12. As I pointed out above they had lots of injuries a few weeks ago but only a few now, less than us.
  13. They did have big injury problems a few weeks ago but the situation is much better for them now. Hugill, Cantwell, Dowell and McLean all came back in midweek so their injury list is a lot shorter than ours now.
  14. The other point is that whilst we are scoring for fun, we don't seem to be able to from set pieces and Mulgrew did bring that.
  15. This is the minute to a transfers/contracts question asked at last week's Fans Forum: - JohnW asked whether the club were expecting any transfer activity in the upcoming January transfer window. MC stated that he expected little activity as the club currently had a strong squad with some key players about to return from injury and a group of academy players establishing themselves in the first team squad. However, he could not rule out offers for players from other clubs which might affect things, although there no plans for anyone to be sold. The club had been talking to a number of players and their agents about new and extended contracts for a number of weeks now.
  16. That's defeatist talk Ozz. I would wager that Peterborough at the top of Div 1 are a better team than Derby at the bottom of the Championship.
  17. I don't think it is available on iFollow for the UK, because it's live on Sky. I've just been on the site and I'm not being offered a chance to buy a pass and Rovers' game preview talks about following the game on social media channels. I'm pretty certain if it was on sale here the club would be wanting to sell me a pass. I don't need one anyway, as I have Sky Sports - I won't be popular when my wife realises I need the TV - she has been enjoying my watching the games on the computer!
