  1. Off sale until 21st May. They need a week for "admin" apparently.
  2. Seems to be quite a few on twitter saying that some long standing employees, some with over 30 years service have been made redundant recently? Anyone know anything about that?!
  3. I wonder if they have bothered to try and tie down Tyjon yet? Probably a really low ball offer is my guess and he will leave next summer for minimal compensation.
  4. Just inflation. We paid 30k a week for a 35 year old Danny Murphy at this level back in 2012.
  5. Yeah, he's had two loan spells there. One in 22-23 and obviously this season too.
  6. Like Finneron last year, if Eze isn't announced now with the rest of them then I think its pretty safe to say he won't be staying.
  7. Took a while but Corry Evans has at least found his level now.
  8. We can afford better, just choose not to.
  9. From the 26/27 season the September & October international breaks are being combined into one at the end of September, but they last for 3 weeks!
  10. He has to sign a new contract first, as things stand he's a free agent end of next month.
  11. Yep, and other clubs reinvest the proceeds of player sales back into the squad. It's common sense. (Apart from here)
  12. Does this news means that the womens team would be completely scrapped, or just not funded to play in the WSL? Meaning they could carry on but a level or so lower?
  13. Exactly. Why would it? Any normal club it would be suicide but here it just doesn't matter, the budget is the budget remember. There is no point in this club selling a player ever again.
  14. Again, not what I am referring too. I am talking about the complete silence to employees of the club about there future's. Keeping them hanging on while they "decide" when they know damn well what the decision will be. If they had to disband it, they haven't woke up yesterday morning and decided not to fund it, this will have been months in the pipeline. You need to wake up a bit to this regime. Hopefully the terrible PR will make them backtrack and decide to fund it, but we'll see.
  15. Absolutely nothing to do with it. They don't want to invest full stop. Our owners are billionaires by the way.
  16. Massively missing the point again. Try reading it a bit closer. That's not how you treat your employee's.
  17. Doesn't make a blind bit of difference, "the budget is the budget" remember. All selling players does is reduce the pressure on our billionaire owners a bit to cover the shortfall.
  18. I think he might stay, but he won't sign a new contract so he will just leave for nothing next summer.
  19. He's played 136 minutes of championship football. Not sure that says he is a "worthy" first team squad member at the minute.
  20. Can't read anything into the above. In theory, why wouldn't he be staying? He's still under contract for another year, and no interest or bid has been reported for him.
  21. Maybe a new 3 year deal and a league one loan is the next step for Batty if we're keeping him on. Don't see many first team opportunities with Riberio and Pickering in front of him.
  22. Only market we look in is the cheapest one, and ones where there are no competition.
  23. Resale value here is pointless under this ownership.
