Come on now there will be a few 'Happy Birthday, Rovers!' videos on social media of Hendry et al filmed on their phones... -

Blackburn Rovers Women
Mattyblue replied to Proudtobeblue&white's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Don’t need pro players or head coach… definitely need a ‘Head of Women’s Football’ though. -
I’m talking theoretically. However, you are conflating a few dozen folk on here with real life. We somehow ended up in the PL with ST prices around what we had in the Taking Back Ewood era and crowds would be huge again. There is no mass ‘boycott’ and there never has been. But we won’t end up in the PL and we won’t see those prices so c9k it is.
-
If STs don’t matter why did we have our highest crowds for a decade in the ‘Taking Back Ewood’ era? We were a mid table side yet had crowds comparable or higher than those in the 90s. 20,000 ST holders is why creating that base.
-
For big games in the run in, of course, but won’t be the case week to week as you just aren’t getting enough walk-ons at up to 30 quid a ticket to have decent gates every week even if the side is doing well - it’s why STs are so important as it’s a guaranteed attendance for every game, so the higher the initial base the better. Bolton are a prime example of that, stuck in the third division but c20,000 there for every run of the mill game. Why? 15,000 ST holders.

No think that’s it this time, no ‘phase 3’ where it would be a grand for the front row of the Blackburn End.
-
I imagine a Cat B ticket in the JWU will be around £27. But still, if the alternative is £500, when you know you’ll miss 4/5, and who knows that bitterly cold midwinter midweek too, maybe NYD, maybe one of the half dozen that will kick off at half 12 etc etc. Getting to the stage for most fans now (unless you are the uber fan that has no other commitments, social occasions, holidays, weekends away and so on between August and May every year) that you need to think, putting to one side that you like ‘your seat’, is it worth my while shelling out?
-
You said that wouldn’t impact match goers, nobody said that it is coming in now - fair enough if you misread GHD’s post.

Championship Season 25-26

So get a better CEO in than Swag and a few more press releases on egg letter headed paper and we’re happy. -
Championship Season 25-26

Won’t be us and that’s the problem. Terrible ownership often ends just like we are seeing at Sheff Wed (see also Reading in recent times), but the apt word is ‘ends’. Here, I only forsee us limping on, zombie style, but with ‘the lights on’ for ever and a day. -
A break in play for adverts obviously would impact match day supporters.
-
Surely January and February are the most depressing months of the year, no?
-
…because of the idiotic, passionless Walkers.

…it was twenty pounds.

Blackburn Rovers Women

‘All players chosen to play for the club will receive official 25/26 Blackburn Rovers training, travel and match day kit.’ Good to know as if they had to buy their own there probably wouldn’t be any left by the end of August… -
To rinse the Everton young support, they’ve no interest in attracting ours.
-
This thread is classic brfcs, page after page over semantics and dictionary definitions. End of the day would a committed owner that wanted the best for Blackburn Rovers work within the judicial framework they’ve been placed in and still properly fund the club? Yes, but as they don’t want the best for Blackburn Rovers, they won’t, but at least now they have legalities to hide behind.
-
‘In-Depth’ on RoversTV? The impediment is over!
-
Attitude, simple as that. Had it on a plate since being about 8 years old. Compare and contrast to a Szmodics who’s grafted his way to a good career (and the financial rewards that go with it). JB will drift down the leagues and at 35 may actually have some regrets.
-
Nice attempted deflection but we are talking about two EFL clubs.
-
If you now ‘support’ another EFL club you were never a proper Rovers fan in the first place.
-
Previous levels without a doubt, the boom in crowds across football coupled with the scale and profile of the PL (that has gone up a fair few levels since 2012) means we’d do that no problem.
-
What’s your point? End of the day Ewood was re-built for a club at the top of the Premier League. We will never, ever fill it completely (so say 28,000 home fans with 3k away) with our own fans week in week out even if we ended back in the top flight. The fanbase isn’t big enough. So if it takes a ticket offer to do it, so what?
