  1. Not that I saw… so they have gone too early again and missed some cracking strikes. 🤷‍♂️
  2. Like the age old question of if a tree falls in the forest with nobody there, does it make a sound… did it actually happen (don’t have a TNT subscription, you see)?
  3. Yeah normally they do show the goals in contention at the penultimate home game (sometimes even earlier) and I always think ‘what if we score some crackers today?’… which we did on Friday! Maybe a decision has now been made to leave it as late as possible to catch as many late contenders as possible… or they are still looking into it
  4. Reading them trying to spin this one will be a laugh (in a tragic kind of way).
  5. @K-Hod was it asked at the FF the other night?
  6. ‘Good move’ to have stock in for Christmas. Round of applause all round 👏
  7. We won’t be getting any of what you describe from this regime (even if we expand what you mean by ‘comms’ to include basic marketing) so you might as well let it go.
  8. Ah you’re moving the goal posts now. So by ‘comms’ you meant advertising and marketing too? Well obviously folk are going to agree that we should be doing that… however a running commentary of lies from the three stooges is another matter entrirely.
  9. The fans should be, the regime shouldn’t. Normal clubs have stock on the shelves in August.
  10. Get him appointed, as with a Swag in situ there is at least a fig leaf of normality i.e. ‘he’s an experienced football executive’. But make Rudy fecking Gestede the CEO of Blackburn Rovers and it will be clear to all they’ve given up entirely and aren’t even attempting to hide it.
  11. 211 members of FIFA, invite the lot, feck it.
  12. No having shirts in April ‘isn’t a bad thing’, the 24/25 season is ongoing so folk should be able to buy a 24/25 season shirt. But as always you are trying to be too clever and miss the actual point. It is not ‘good stock management’ to have no shirts for months at a time during the season but a discounted glut at the end.
  13. Won’t somebody think of the stakeholders!
  14. Stock levels have been completely wrong if you have none in stock from August to November but have a load of excess shirts you have to discount in April.
  15. My point doesn’t make sense now as it was a reply to longers’ original, now deleted, post that was coming out with the usual tired Dingle stuff about Jack (usual mask slipping from him).
  16. If you hadn’t have had that first promotion under Dyche none of this would have happened - you were going nowhere pre his appointment. You’ve a lot to thank him for.
  17. They run out of shirts every August, poor stock management, simple as that.
  18. Not sure what your point is? You think those owners would hang around if you didn’t get out the league before the parachutes ran out? Their whole model is based on PL/parachute income?
  19. Neither do I, I’m just going off Glen’s posts this morning that the next stage is being worked up.
  20. Exactly. There was ‘uproar’ in 1960 after the cup final ticket debacle - fans walked away. Uproar in 2012 - fans walked away. Uproar in 2025 - fans will walk away. That is how Rovers supporters have always shown dissent and ‘protest’, not by a load of chanting and messages on bedsheets whilst still handing over their cash.
  21. …and parachute money. They end up in this league by season three and we’d see how ‘driven’ they are, I’d imagine driving away from Turf Moor pronto…
  22. Results in 2025 aren’t the driver for Glen’s campaign, of course not, this is 15 years in the making. But don’t expect the match goers to be protesting when the team is winning, won’t happen, neither will a big protest happen at the ground against Watford. So forget about that. Match day protests in any great numbers will be organic and will only occur if the team is on a horror run/bottom of the league. So let’s get behind all the stuff away from match day that Glen is working on, that has to be the focus. It isn’t the 1980s, ‘protest’ doesn’t just mean chants to ‘sack the board’ now.
  23. It’s finished for this season. The vast majority of remaining match goers just want to watch the game… they will turn on sustained poor results, but not a chance if the team is winning games. All about Glen’s media campaign (social or otherwise) now.
