That remark alone tells me Lindsay is probably out of her depth, I'd also question her figures too. I've just been reading the pre-season thread and some of the comments in here, we cannot go into this season with just the current crop of players or we'll be relegated in my opinion. The reason why we fell away last season was due to a lack of strength in depth, practically relegation form after Christmas, Diaz international duty and his injury hit us hard obviously, but those 14/15 players from last season had to perform week in week out for the entire season and that was never going to happen. Moving forward to this season, we've lost Van Hecke, Lenihan, Nyambe, Rothwell, Hedges, Johnson and Khadra from our first team squad, let that sink in for a minute........ Academy kids in pre-season games are all well and good, but asking them to play 20/30/40 games a season is madness, we need new blood in the building and quickly.

At the cup game in Glasgow, I was struck by the numbers of Irish teenagers singing songs about IRA killing the English, when most of them were just a twinkle in daddies eye when the troubles were raging. This was in the pubs close to ground, we were in The Bairds Bar for a while, most of the pub in town were fine and to be honest ignoring the spotty knobheads the Bairds was fine too.
