  1. Exactly Paul. He has done a decent job but he doesn't have the required quality to sustain and maintain our promotion hope and tactical awareness to achieve Promotion push over a complete season What a load of tosh you talk. Mowbray is nowhere near leaving this club in the mess that Coyle and Kean left this club. The playing squad will need 8 to 10 signings but I think a freshen up of the playing squad and the management team is exactly what the club after the past 2 years of not achieving at least playoff place. Last season we should have got top 6 given the financial backing Mowbray has and this season we should have got top 6 given we were second in the league after beating Boro at home. Missing out on the top 6 this season is utter and completely unacceptable. We need a new manager who will put the fight and passion back into the players and the club for next season. Cos currently I see very little of this from the current squad in recent games. Didn't you say Mowbray was joining WBA to replace Ismael in February? Well its good to know that their commentators are telling it has it is. I guess these Rovers TV commentators? Yes it was great team to watch and a side that played passion, pride and for the shirt. But Hughes change his tactics during that season after we were beaten by Larissa and Portsmouth he changed to 4-2-3-1 with Tugay and Mokenna in centre midfield, Derbyshire wide right, Bentley has a 10, Pedersen wide left and Santa Cruz up front. The next game we won 2-1- Away at Sunderland. Mowbray need to adapt and change his tactics otherwise we win against Stoke on Easter Monday.
  2. Time for Mowbray and the players to step up tomorrow and put in a good overall passionate and desire performance and get the win. Far too many times Rovers are slow to start games and don't play with get in their faces attitude. We need to press high, work alot harder for the shirt and don't forget what the badge says and stand for. Mowbray need to drop the back 5 boll0cks and go back to playing 4-2-3-1 formation. So my team would be Kaminski Nyambe Lenihan Wharton Pickering Travis Johnson Dolan Buckley Brereton Gallagher
  3. I posted the info that Coyle said he was appointed. Whether its true or not I don't know but Coyle did say he met Balaji before his appointment. Paul Senior told me that he selected Mowbray as Coyle's replacement. Whether Pasha had any involve in that decision know. Wasn't Pasha involved in the Lambert appointment which was good and positive appointment at the time. Shame his plans was never implement and he chose to walk away from the club. Cos I believe with the right finances and backing he would have got us promotion and playoff place at least
  4. No idea of who he has appoint but I'm sure he has appoint and been involved in making some managerial appointment He has been CEO of Blackburn Rovers, Charlton, Coventry and Gillingham. Where did I say I have confidence in him? Maybe look at what I actually said which was he should be more than capable of running of managerial search, interviewing potential candidates and appointing a new manager given how long he worked in football and the roles he has had them. Bigger and proper question will be will the owners let him do the interviewing and appointing the next manager
  5. I have read an article that suggested that Cornet was ALK signing and not a Dyche signing. Also in the article that Dyche working relationship with Mike Garlick had been rock bottom which he sold the club. Dyche no longer attended board meetings under the new regime Dyche lost Burnley players after 2018 Europa League exit (msn.com)
  6. Lenihan has over 260 first team games Travis has 150 first team games Nyambe has 200 first team games Rothwell has 254 first team games Wharton has 151 first team games Pickering has 196 first team games
  7. I have this before. He has been a Football CEO of 4 football league clubs so he will have appoint new managers during that time. If you don't think he can fine enough.
  8. watched the full game on Sky. Its was truly pathetic and passionless performance all game apart from a couple of good bits. We didn't show any passion or commitment. Plus the tactics and formation was clueless. Players out of position again. Mowbray's comments post match summed up a manager who has lost his passion for Rovers job and need to go asap.
  9. and my point was he is so very quick and dismissive on someone opinion
  10. each person will make their own decision base on their situation.
  11. well Mowbray has repeatedly told the media that no contract talks have taken place over a new contract. Plus he hasn't gone to India yet so lets wait and see on that
  12. How long has this deal been agree for? agreed with you Duncan. The club should have Mowbray and Venus on gardening leave asap soon they lined up their WBA move any idea who the 2 players were? if Venus is then thats is shocking and unacceptable. is that where all this info has come from? another poster mention Rothwell's dad was the source of his info?
  13. We show teams far too much respect under Mowbray. Yesterday game was a classic case of showing them too much respect and sitting back instead of pressing high and closing them down quick.
  14. Well I do have the right to say it as its my opinion and I have plenty of footballers chase the money instead of enjoying play regular football or choosing the right next move also
  15. Pasha's CV is on LinkedIn Waggott and Silvester have worked long enough in football to run a proper managerial search
  16. cos that what I am and that your posting attitude is so quick to dismiss a different point of opinion and That to your opinion is just a cliche but to others it not. I want to a passionate person in the dugout next season who understand the fans, what the clubs means to us, understand the history of the club. Yes Results do matter at the end of the day but I have enough of Mowbray in the dugout and his dour attitude there. They was zero passion from him yesterday or in recent games. Where are your suggestions then? you don't suggest any again even tho I have for some sensible and realistic suggestions, but you are very quick to slammed me for my suggestions tho.
  17. what is the attitude for again Roversfan99? Who is going to pay Lenihan 50k a week? Footballers should be thinking about playing football regular and the money will follow if they are good enough
  18. Pasha has been here for years in the background for 6 years and 9 months. Steve Waggott has been football CEO at 4 different football league clubs Ian Silvester has worked in football for over 15 years. Almost 6 years at Liverpool and nearly 10 years here. So he has plenty of footballing experience
  19. You are so quick to moan and dismiss someone point of view who is season ticket holder and very passionate Rovers fan. What the club means to the fans, the history of the club, etc. But Ainsworth knows the club and what the clubs to the fans from his days here as players. No I have throw together sensible and realistic shortlist together of potential names whether you want a British manager, head coach with background in youth development or a overseas manager but with championship manager. You are quick to have a moan about my suggestions without coming up with your own which is frank doesn't surprise with yourself cos that your track record.
  20. Burnley owners are in full panic mode over the financially impact of relegation and how they finance buying the club in the first place
  21. See I don't agree with the first bit as they are more than capable to run and lead the next managerial search but it all comes down what the owners do as we seen before. Christiansen's contract finished in 2 months time actually that's has been a problem with past appointments
