  1. No reaction so far, still getting played off the park.
  2. Coming off a 4-1 dicking and 2-0 down now we're going to learn a lot about this set of players in the next half hour. Heads need to roll if there's no reaction.
  3. Armstrong so poor this half. A league 1 player as far as I'm concerned.
  4. Madine is pony. How Bolton got big money for him is beyond belief - even their fans couldn't believe it. Who would I go for if we were in the market? Big bloke who can't get a game at boro, goes by the name of Rudy - you might remember him.
  5. Yep that's what disappointed me the most. You were at panic stations every time a decent ball was put in the box first half but we hadn't the physicality to capitalise. So HT we bring Graham on, get a quality ball in and score. Bingo I think, that's the blueprint to go on and win the game. Unfortunately the players then drop deep as if they're protecting a 1 goal lead, shit out of 50 - 50s and get dicked. I don't recall one more quality ball into the box after the goal as we started to play false 9 tactics with a real number 9 on the pitch. Piss poor.
  6. Not read back through the comments but , even though I feel Nyambe played well going forward, yet again an opposing manager targetted him as a weakness and got joy from it. Further to that I thought Lenihan's distribution was abysmal and our desire at 2-1 was very disappointing. They were there for the taking and we never even laid a glove on them.
  7. There's nothing much in this league to be honest. People continue to look at Sheffield United as the standout team but it should never be forgotten how utterly abject we were that day - if anything we were more outplayed at Bristol City. If we are to get back to the Premiership there will never be a better season to do so than this one.
  8. Regardless of what the performance was like I'm delighted as this and late Carlisle and Shrewsbury winners bagged me £410.
  9. One thing that I didn't enjoy on Saturday was that I didn't hear 'oh I do like to be beside the seaside, oh I do like to be beside the sea, oh I do like to stroll along the prom prom prom where the brass band play F%×% off West Brom.....like in the good old days.
  10. And that is funny? I must've missed the humour there. What is funny is he is the first to question why it gets done to him...and it's generally patently obvious why.
  11. All reasonable points put forward eloquently. Which begs the question why has chaddy put up a laughing emoji?
  12. Not read much on Conway's performance on this thread. For what it's worth I thought he was excellent in work rate and keeping the ball although his delivery from wide areas was poor at times. I questioned his new contract when it was given but based on yesterday he definitely still has a part to play.
  13. To be honest the only thing the game was missing was a bloke in a basque.
  14. Came away from today's game thinking if ever there is a year to get out of this division this is it. If we're in the mix in January the owners must invest, we're a centre half and centre forward away from being real contenders in my opinion.
  15. Fabulous player. Head and shoulders above everyone else today and if there's a chance to buy him it should be top of the priority list in January.
  16. The thing is Chaddy, if you go back and read the rest of the partially quoted post, you were ridiculing another poster's contribution. Classic case of giving but not taking.
  17. I know we've no alternative to DG but surely we're not at this stage
  18. A complete lack of closing down for both goals. Really really poor.
  19. I always found it quite disturbing that around 5000 grown men would chant to see a bloke's arse - maybe it raised more than a laugh with some?
  20. A few boos in the first half but they soon turned to cheers when he characteristically started spraying the ball out of play.
  21. Yeah, you can usually see something in a player that gives you hope. I've seen nothing from him, he's almost Grabbiesque. Very worrying.
