  1. If we sell them then the last 3 years will have been a lie. We won't have been "building" at all will we?
  2. Don't forget "We've always been a selling club".
  3. Ainsworth could be our Dyche. Seems a good fit to me.
  4. WI 23 for 3 before lunch! This could be one hell of a result!
  5. Damien worth a try if we are not going the experienced route. But change is necessary.
  6. True true true! But its also true that when we win when it doesn't matter and we fail when it does. Heart of the problem really.
  7. To be fair, there was enormous demand on here for him to play long before Tony picked him. Let's not rewrite history. The lad came in and made himself indispensable but that was only what most expected. Bit too slow and over-cautious is Tony.
  8. You've lined those players up in their rightful positions, I only wish Tony would!
  9. Code for "there is no transfer kitty".
  10. Classic Chaddy distraction! He was our's and a great prospect. We took the money, borrowed Brighton's 4th choice with the obvious consequences and now see "our" lad probably in the Premier League next season. Its commonly held that we got £3M quid for him. Might be less, might be more, Please point to how we've benefited.
  11. Thrill an hour? Would that be pushing it?
  12. Which makes me think they'd go for Johnno if (big if) they decided Times Up For Tony.
  13. You have been known to be repetitive yourself Chaddy!
  14. Since football returned we've taken 7 points from six games. That's borderline relegation form, ludicrous to think we will make the play-offs with Mowbray in charge. He's never been a good manager, that's the thing. Left Coventry in a mess from which they have never recovered but most telling of all, made a pigs ear of the Celtic job. How is that possible?!! I didn't cheer when he came to us, better than Coyle is all you can say about him.
  15. We've been linked to 6th place as well so don't get your hopes up.
  16. Three quarters of the league are challenging for a top 6 place at some point during the season. He not only didn't make us serious candidates, we have only made 6th once in 2 years, when we had an early KO and that only lasted a couple of hours! If he stays we will have another season like this one---at best. That's assuming he does well in the transfer market because we are in dire need of half a side, thanks to successive cock-ups from him.
  17. How long is he going to live off promotion from Div 1? Loyalty is apparently available to everyone at Rovers but the fans.
  18. Left back at Notts Forest!
  19. Norwich spent £2m! Never serious about staying up. Happy to yo-yo I think
  20. When it mattered we lost 3 in a row! So, if this game has any significance---we'll lose!
  21. Well we haven't finished 10th yet have we? How about the boring football? Gav and others went bonkers about Allardyce but at least we were in the Premier League and improving. We're going backwards now. Progress would be making top 6 in my view. And he said that was his aim. Or was it 70 points? Either way he's failed. How about £12M strikers who can't score and are played out of position? 3 and a half years and we haven't got one decent keeper at the Club. Unbelievable what some people will put up with.
  22. Its marginal rather than significant? Could easily be undone by end of season churn, failure of owners to fund transfers, failure of manager to sign right players. In short any improvement is at glacial speed and we'll all be dead by the time Tony's rebuilding programme has finished.
