I disagree with your statement. For me he would have been first to the ball. Neither your thoughts or mine can be proven. But what is a fact, is that Pears retreated and Norwich scored. Because of that, in my mind Pears has not made the right decision.

Pukki announces that he is leaving at the end of the season. Norwich drop him to the bench, no matter how good he is for the team. Our player in a similar position, is allowed to hang about on the wing. Outcome Norwich win. I am not saying the circumstances lead to the outcome, but they must have some bearing.

Mola is being played at center half to cover for the players that have been moved on or are with the first team squad. He is not good as a center-half, but he is reasonably strong in the air.

We play a tactic that works well if the opposition attack us. The problem is we play the same tactic when the opposition don't need to attack us, so it doesn't work.
