  1. Agreed. Also agreed. Now i reckon we'll lose 2 of the 3 this summer alone. And then, we're in deep shit.
  2. We've given him all the power in any negotiations because we've let his contract run down. Absolutely horrific management, once again, at this football club. He's off, the club won't miss out on making a couple of million and alleviating some financial "burden" off the pack of fucking cretins that own us. Anyone with half a brain has seen this situation coming a mile off, not opening contract negotiations months ago is absolutely unacceptable. We've now got players forcing moves through to fucking Middlesbrough. Fuck off Venkys, just fuck off.
  3. Selling Brittain undoes any good work in the market so far. Underlines the complete and total lack of ambition at this football club. #VenkysOut
  4. Can't say I have a great deal of confidence that the club will get this resolved. And as this is probably the 1 signing of the 4 that was the most interesting, i'm not wholly surprised if we fail to get it over the line.
  5. Ah fairs. Yeah that wouldn't help, for sure.
  6. He was a strange signing, he arrived with a reasonable amount of fanfare, certainly for an U21's signing. I was expecting him to play 1/2 season or so with the U21's and then be moved into the 1st team. I assume he's just not that good.
  7. 😂 PNE fans won't know what to do! They'll make a killing off the half and half scarves though!
  8. This guy a centre mid? Baradji, Taveres, Tronstad, Travis, Forshaw, Montgomery, Buckley, Garrett 8! centre mids. Buckley and Garrett you could see leaving but I reckon one of Trav or Tronstad are off as well
  9. I wonder if Silver Eze signing up has changed any thoughts? He wouldn't have signed up without a clear path to the first team, if he has turned down the likes of Juve and AC Milan. Wouldn't be surprised if he was now part of the first team squad.
  10. Wonder if this new RB will end up on the Right wing. He played Beck further forward at the first opportunity and it seems De Neve, who has also been a LB, is set to be deployed on the left wing.
  11. FFS. There is always something with this lot. Always some suspect link one way or another.
  12. Latest rumour is JRC to Charlton for £1m. Pretty good business to get £1m for him tbh.
  13. JRC leaving isn't a shock, clearly not rated by VI. He's fallen victim to his injuries, lack of pace and to some extent, his versatility. He's been a good player for us and was excellent under JDT. Difficult to see where he fits in now though. As always with these clowns, it's only the right move if the money is wisely reinvested. (which is won't be)
  14. There it is. Well spotted. Yeah, suspect timing on that link coming out, straight after the fans are fuming about our joke club not offering new contracts to our better players. So, file Mannsverk under the usual, of just being a name to make it look like we're actually doing something.
  15. Sounds like Mannsverk would be coming as a Tronstad replacement. No idea if he's any good but it's a risky move letting Tronstad go, he's a key component in our starting 11. Seems mad that we'd spend good money on tweaking centre mid, arguably out strongest position with Trav and Tronstad, when the right wing is in dire need of an upgrade.
  16. Some positive news! Seems like a great effort from the club to keep him because, as you say, he's had some pretty big admirers recently.
  17. Weren't we in advanced talks with him like 3 weeks ago?
  18. So clubs could spend whatever they wanted, unchecked in League One but you're forced to follow the rules in the Championship? (possibly not anymore as noted by others)
  19. How do they circumvent the rules to be able to spend so much? The same rules that "force" us to sign players for £250k
  20. I highly doubt it, seems like ages ago the word from LET was that contract talks with Brittain were positive and a deal was close. Total silence since. I have no doubts that the club have 0 interest in renewing any of those contracts, due to the uplift in salary they can all now command.
  21. Fucking hell, their away kit will be blue & white halves at this rate. Serious though, I think Eustace has a lot of pull with our players combined with a decent payrise, we could be in trouble. Brittain is an excellent full back and we will absolutely not be able to replace him with a better player, or even one of equal abiity.
  22. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/july/02/mullarkey-matthews-pens-pro-deal-/ A "new" right back
  23. Absolutely horrific news. Just got married, has 3 young kids & his brother also died in the crash. RIP
