  1. Past hour
  2. Really surprised Kaminski has ended up at Charlton? I can only think they have a few bob and could match his Luton contract.
  3. The Torygraph giving Rod Stewart 3 stars for his Glastonbury set??? The guy’s 80 for uks sake and the fact he can still knock out the golden oldies for 90 minutes in 30C degree heat in front of 200.000 fans is worth 5 stars out of 5 in anybody’s book. Bitter press, who haven’t got a clue.
  4. If the club was in any way a real football club then they would have Toth and Kaminski fighting it out for the number 1 jersey. Kaminski was good but he didn't command his area in any way that I would deem good enough. I think Toth will come out a good one, he made it obvious when he arrived that he was here to be the main man and prove it. No doubt he'll have a great season and be sold for less than half his actual value. The club will then plead poverty and the usual lemmings will be telling us that we got a good deal. I'm just keen to see how long big Val will last. I reckon he won't see out the season.
  5. To admit that you would rather have either of our current keepers over TK is to admit that in your eyes the club can do no wrong. Fwiw I quite like Toth, but let's be objective about this.
  6. Kaminski had issues with the new style of play as did the whole back line but that seems to have been erased from memory all of a sudden. Clearly affected him and led to some howlers but he still only lost his place through injury.
  7. Today
  8. Kaminski made a couple of mistakes in those last games before the injury he had that was hindering him finally became impossible to play with. Prior to that, he had been excellent in that season. And had already got a previously earnt player of the season. Recency bias makes people talk about him as if he was constantly making mistakes.
  9. But the point is if their mates and peers don't know they're failing to run the club now, they're not going to suddenly know they've been fucking the club for 15 years if they quietly sold it. If their £200m loss making machine is an irrelevance now, is it suddenly going to be front page news if they quietly just cut it loose. I doubt it.
  10. I don't see how they can watch at half time as they will be giving tactics. If it's live the opposition will have someone watching it.
  11. These changes won't have any impact on match day supporters
  12. As OssyDave says he makes mistakes last season. No I wouldn't him back. I would like see more of Toth now,
  13. this is in england, the name blackburn rovers is virtually unheard of in india, even the premier league teams, though recognized, don`t hold any importance in a country where cricket is ingrained in the culture
  14. It’s only a matter of time before the Premier League pander to Sky’s long held objective of having breaks in play to broadcast adverts. Do you think some in the stadium will welcome that as, at least, they’ll be able to pour a cup of coffee from their thermos, every 20 minutes or so, without missing a kick
  15. The old president Aulas had taken the club as far as he could financially and left the club in a good position. New stadium, new arena for shows, and little by little Textor sold the are an off and diverted funds to Botafogo. He was also trigger happy on managers building up huge pay packages to release them on contracts he invested in terrible players bar our striker and Ferri. A lot coming from Botafogo like Jefferson, andreylson, Ferri. Got rid of good people like Juninho, and Cacapa there is a reason why we are protesting against him. don’t forget his other club RWMD Change the logo without telling anyone and the name of the clubs got the club relegated from miss management. They have never recovered
  16. It won't disappear. Nobody has disappeared. They might have a couple of horrible years and might go down to League One but at the end of it will be rid of Chansiri and will get bought by someone better. They'll then be able to rebuild just like so many others have done under new engaged ownership.
  17. Not sure it would be unanimous. I liked Kaminski here but he was hardly flawless, particularly towards the end of his time here. Last season he dropped a fair few clangers too. However it's a bit early to say how good Toth is, but he's definitely warmed on me. 1m is cheap for Kaminski even if he is 32 though.
  18. I don't mind Toth at all, I think with more gametime, he'll develop into a decent GK at this level. Calamity...I think it's clear how I feel about him. TK is streets ahead of both and was probably Luton's best player in their solitary season in the Prem.
  19. When does the squad go to Spain?
  20. Price for Rovers non-season ticket holders - £12 Price for Everton fans - £10 🤷‍♂️
  21. As I said, "simply for 'benefit' of the armchair dwelling , non-match going ,TV viewing 'fan'." As is every supposed 'improvement' they seem to make. We are not even an afterthought.
  22. It’s like the one that’s crept into Rugby League - “ Sheds “ instead of changing rooms. Last time I got changed in a shed I was about 13. Bloody Australians !
  23. What has any of this got to do with you saying that you wouldn’t want him back - despite (I predict) the rest of us being unanimously agreeing he’s significantly better than both keepers we have now?
